Totally agree with the other review about businessman attitude. Dr Worrel is very risk averse, he would often ask you to do 1000 tests even if the chance of something happening is 0.0001%. Often times we found that most of the test he recommended came out negative. If you say no, he may pressurize you by telling worst case scenarios. Either he is afraid of liabilities or wants to make lots of money. We have lot faith in his judgement. We are definitely looking for a new pediatrician for our kiddo. Don't want to see our kiddo going through 1000s test for every sneeze or small fever. more

More Businessman than a Doctor 4/5/2014

We have been visiting this doctor since long now. He used to be good before. But these days all he cares about is money. He doesn't prescribe medicines to cure the problem on first visit. He wants more and more visits so that his office can earn more money. more

Insulting Doctor Who is Full of Himself 4/9/2011

Good: I liked that I had known this doctor since I worked at ADC as a teen... Apparently, this wasn't enough.. Bad: That he insulted me with personal attacks and would not listen to me. I had told him the entire time - my family makes SMALL BABIES. I even had records to prove this. He refused to listen and even told me it's not genetics (no tests to prove his asinine attitude towards me). Instead, he wanted to treat my kid as a guinea pig. Guess what jerk - I feed my kid just fine. The tests the new doctor ran came back NORMAL. IT"S GENETICS.. Improvements: I'd like for smartypants comments like "Well, I'm going to hospitalize her so the nurses who know how to feed a baby can evaluate her." would not be tolerated by ADC.. Other: All tests were coming back normal/negative. Nothing is wrong with my child. Not all children in American need to be 20 lb 6 month olds.. more

Caring environment with friendly staff 7/9/2005

We chose Dr. Worrell based on a recommendation from the neonataologist at the hospital where our son was born. I have been so pleased with the care and concern of the doctors, nurses and office staff at this location I just cannot say enough. It's great when someone you know suddenly says, hey, I heard you say that doctor's name. He was my doctor for 18 years and has meant the world to me. more
