Greg Foumal was great to work with. He was patient, helpful, knowledgeable and easy going. We communicated via email for several weeks, while he answered questions and sent me options, always respectful and never pushy. I appreciated feeling like a valued customer from the start, and knowing he would go the extra mile to help me find the right car. I will gladly recommend Greg to my friends, and will seek him out when I am in the market for another car. Thanks to all at DHVW for being so professional and wonderful to work with. more

Greg Foumal is truly the man. When you buy a car, you really really want this kind of person. I know many people hope their dealers to be just ""nice."" But that is not professional. In fact, you don't want your dealer to be a wishy-washy guy who just pretends to be nice and warm-hearted and offer you a bad price and say ""this is the best I can do."" You want a dealer who is competitive. Greg gave me the best offer every time I contacted. He was so competitive and hard-working that he always provided a better offer than other dealers (I contacted him several times over last few months). What shocked me the most is that I contacted my family friend dealer and he told me he could get me a really good price. Indeed, this price was very good that I was just going to go with it. Greg, comes in, and tells me that he could get me loyal customer service WITH a lower price. WHAT! He made an offer better than my family friend did!! On the same day, he even drove all the way from Seattle to get the exact car I wanted. He is humorous but don't think he is just another nice guy; he is very efficient and professional. He knows what he is doing and I got the car at the price I wanted when at least three other dealers refused to do so. I plan to buy my next car from Greg as well. more

Cort Bailiff was and still is so helpful... I went to test drive a Passat and he answered all of our questions and was very patient as we narrowed in on our decision. Super great guy and very helpful, I just bought the car a few days ago and he's called to check in to see if we have any questions. There's so much to learn about a new car and I've also called him a couple times to ask questions..always nice and helpful!! It's so nice to have a good experience buying a car.. he took the stress out of it!!! Also, something I noticed at this dealership I didn't see at any others.. whenever we walked in or were sitting down all the associates smiled, were happy, said hi and brought us water or chatted with us. It was a good atmosphere and not stressful. Everyone's telling me I got a really great deal too! :) more

Careful these people are Manipulative and quick handed. They have a Regional markup that I have seen at other dealers(around $500) at up to $5000+ over retail value. These people will be so nice as to sell you a car for thousands upon thousands over MSRP. Being my first time buying a new car ( I am car savvy) I thought I knew a thing or two about the car and was told open ended non conclusive comments about questions I had. Don’t fall for there ""Deal"" they offer, go to a better dealer... don’t waste your money here. I wish I would have listened to others that told me the same. more

I have been to dealerships before in the past, and always felt an overwhelming sense of being pressured and manipulated into purchasing a vehicle that wasn't what I was looking for. The first time I worked with Scotty, I had an experience unlike the rest. He took the time to understand my needs and my desires in a vehicle, and did everything possible to find me something that encompassed both. He understands people, and doesn't view them as ""another customer"" when they walk through the door. You genuinely feel he truly wants to help you find what you are looking for the best he can. I had worked with Scotty before in the past, and thought maybe this was a one time ""luck of the draw"" but upon returning again, I was greeted with the same smile and generosity as before. He is a true and honest individual, and I would recommend anyone who has an apprehension about going to a dealership to work with Scotty and see how much he can change your perception. You will not be disappointed! more

Working with Dave was a great experience. He was a friendly and easy going consultant. Usually you run into pushy sales that want you to buy their way but with Dave it was different. He actually listened to what we had to say and work hard to get what we were looking for. Dave was also understanding to our situation so that in itself made the time well spent. I have already recommended him to some of my friends. He also delivered my spare set of keys to my house instead of making me go back to the dealership. The dealership as a whole was pleasant, clean and the staff was friendly. We have another vehicle to change in the near future and will for sure go back to see if Dave can help. more

I went in to check out the car and see if I fit (I'm 6'4 and it is a problem for a lot of cars). My old car was getting old and needed to be replaced. I was ready to buy but was not interested in being forced into a car or hyped into a car that I would feel bad about the next day. I have been to several dealerships and it seams every time I go it's the same old thing. "Look at this car", "Let's test drive it (even though I am really not that interested yet)", "What would it take to get you into this car today". This was NOT one of those experiences. Hamzah greeted us as we arrived at the dealership. We asked him about the Jetta and let him know why we were there. Hamzah showed us exactly what we asked for and sowed us some other options just so we could get a feel for it. Never once did we feel pressured to take a test drive and enter the "Death Spiral at the Dealership". After looking at more that our fair share of the same model cars with slightly different variations we decided to drive one. Again I have been on a few test drives at other dealerships and it is funny because the work so hard to get you to take the test drive and then they take you on a 5 minute spin around the block and call it good and are convinced you are going to buy the car after that and the pressure begins. Never mind that you haven't driven the car on the freeway, on boulevards, in any kind of traffic, parked it reversed or anything beyond driving it through some suburban neighborhood at a max of 35 MPH with no hills or any real driving, if you do want to take it on a more through test drive the salesman looks annoyed especialy if you aren't planning on buy that day (As if I will come back after that?). Again this was NOT that kind of experience. Hamza let us drive it in all of the conditions we wanted to. Me "Can we take it on the freeway/bulavrd/park it/etc.?" Hamzah "Sure take it wherever you want, take as long as you like, I want you to test this car in every way you would like to." He didn't seam annoyed to be in the car during this extended test drive, he answered all of our questions and most importantly when he didn't know something (which was rare) he was not afraid to let us know he was not sure. Once we decided to buy our car the purchase process was not bad. They list there prices and that's that. You don't have to argue price with them. They give you their best offer and the get go. They worked financing through the bank I chose and it was simple. The price was not some phenomenal deal rather it is what I would expect to pay for the car given the research I did (Hence the 3 ratting). What was great is I didn't have to fight to get it to that level. That is where it started. It took a little while to get everything prepared for us to sign (Faster than other dealerships I have been at but still a little bit) and they we were good to go. After that Hamza showed us all of the new features helped us setup our NAV and stereo and even took my wife on a test drive in another car (even though she was almost certainly not going to buy a car then just so she could get a feel for future reference). We love our new car. So much we are considering another one for my wife next year. If we do we will actively seek out Hamzah as he was that fantastic. more

My husband and I had the worst experience here! We came in to look at a used Routan, and they told us it was in a lot far away but we should check out the new ones. We did, and ended up making an offer. However, the starting point was $27,000, and they came back with $25,988 and said that was the lowest they could go - come to find out, that's the price advertised on the website! They started us with a HIGHER than advertised price!! We told them we didn't want to pay that much, and our salesperson brought out the manager. The manager then started asking why we had saved up so much money (we were going to pay in cash) and berated us for trying to pay cash for the car. We finally agreed to come back the next day to look at the used car we were interested in, and they insisted it would be ready to test drive in the lot. Coming in the next day, we had to sit around for almost two hours waiting for someone to find this used car we were interested it. Finally found out it WASN'T DELIVERED yet! What a waste of time! Couldn't they have found out that information before we came in?? They knew we were coming! Very rude and obnoxious staff. Go to Herzog-Meier, much nicer, no run-around there. more

I purchased a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen from Dick Hannah VW last week and I have to say that I don't think I've ever had a better car buying experience. They were easy to work with from the beginning--fast to respond, great prices, easy financing and the best selection in the state. No compromising--just a fair deal for both parties. more

This is my 3rd purchase from Dick Hannah VW and Samantha has by far been my #1 salesperson, she knew what my restrictions were and worked with me without frustration. I will come back to see her in 4 years for a new lease! The entire team was quite friendly even staying through the process which lasted until 11 p,m Friday night. Great group of folks there, I highly recommend Dick Hannah VW more

When negotiating the deal on my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagon I told Josh Naumcheff that he had 30 minutes to make me a deal (I had to pick my son up from a school event. Within 25 minutes he was shaking my hand congratulating me on my purchase. Very friendly and professional gentleman to work with. I came back 2 days later and got one for my son. This is the man to see if you want a good deal. more

My salesman was Greg Foumal. He was very helpful in pointing out options for different cars, which helped me decide on the Jetta SE. Greg made the experience very fast, quick and easy. He also added that personal touch, which was nice. I would recommend Greg Foumal to anyone who was looking to purchase a new or used car. more

To whom it may concern: My sister Kara and I, initially went into Dick Hannah Subaru to potentially purchase a 2012 Subaru WRX (for my sister), but received such horrible service that we ended up going to Volkswagen to look at their VW GTI and TDI models. It was there where we were assisted by Scotty, who assisted us tremendously. Although we didn't walk out of there with a Volkswagen GTI or TDI, Scotty was able to assist my sister with her original and ideal purchase, and we drove away in her brand new 2012 Subaru WRX from the Subaru dealership. It is this exemplary service of sales personnel like Scotty at the Volkswagen dealership that will ensure my recommendation, loyalty and return to see him for my future purchases. Thank you for going above and beyond for us. Respectfully Submitted, Leenard Benologa more

These reviews are fake. They have 3/25/2012

These reviews are fake. They have HORRIBLE service and RUDE sales staff. They damaged my car installing the clear cover protector-which they improperly installed THREE times-and never offered to compensate or fix the damages. Also, when I was in the process of purchasing this vehicle, the sales manager talked down to me, yelled at me, and was more than just rude. I wish I would have walked out the door. NEVER BUY A CAR OR SERVICE IT WITH DICK HANNAH. The name is what it means. more

I would like to recognize Heather at 2/7/2012

I would like to recognize Heather at Vancouver Dick Hanna VW. Heather worked her heart out for me and i so appreciated her person centered approach. Even though I was unable to get the car that I wanted, it was through no fault of Heather. In fact, rather than look elsewhere, I intend to wait until another Dick Hanna EOS opportunity presents itself. Heather was gracious, hard working and totally commited to helping me. She is a role model for selling behaviors and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with her. more

Sales & Leasing Consultant Needs Customer Service Skills 12/9/2011

Arrived at Dealership and was met by Sales Consultant. Who asked, may I help you find something? I showed him the car ad they had updated on Dec. 8, 2011, which I had printed out that day. He took it and walked away, saying he would be back. I walked over the entire exterior of the dealership looking at almost every car, before I went inside. I found the sales consultant inside and he says. I'm sorry that vehicle is in the shop getting repaired. It's a new vehicle they had listed that morning, why is it in the shop? I ask him if I can see another 2011, and test drive one. He proceeds to tell me they have no other 2011 vehicles and I tell him there are at least 5 more that I saw on your website. He goes away and disappears for another 10 minutes and comes back with three keys and says we do have more. He doesn't even know the inventory on the lot. He then tries to sell me some other car, when I came here for this particular car. He goes away for another 10 minutes and brings out his ""Team Leader"" Who basically does nothing; except brings me the car fax, which took forever. However, he did offer an apology for taking so long. Printer jammed...everything out of their mouth was an excuse for taking so long. For a NEW CAR in Service! This sales team spent more time in their office or behind their doors than they did trying to make a sale. I felt ignored, and that my business didn't matter. I left the business wondering why did I ever bother coming to Dick Hannah for a purchase; Good Deals perhaps, but the way I was treated I won't be back. I'll take my $20k cash I have saved for a car and go elsewhere. And now everytime I open up a VW AD and I see their name, I hit the back button. more
