I went in for a routine exam and cleaning. I had a VERY SMALL cavity on one of my molars, a molar, per Dr. Ransdell, that just needed to be "cleaned up", and a silver filling on a third molar that I was told should be replaced. I was given the option of composite fillings or porcelain. There was no mention whatsoever of crowns or onlays. I had no idea the majority of healthy dental structure would be drilled away. I opted for porcelain as I was told it would last much longer than composite. I had no idea I would be receiving crowns until after most of my natural tooth structure was drilled away. I had no underlying tooth decay and those teeth did not bother me one bit. Like Tina, I had temp fillings for 2 days (as opposed to a 2 hr wait), and the results are nothing like the CAD/CAM crowns which they heavily advertise in the office (mind you, they never even told me that's what I was supposed to be having done). I went to this dentist a week ago. It was a horrible visit. They worked on my teeth. Then they put on temp caps. Mind you they have signs all over the office that says permeant cap/crowns in just minutes. Boy that is a huge lie! I have never in my life felt pain like this. I have been back twice and I am still in so much pain. I went to today and she said my temps needed to be alined. Wow she is so full of it. I wish they could feel the pain I am in for just 5 minutes. Oh and when I went in last week I had no pain. Now I have to find another dentist since this one is not capable of listening to the me! Please think twice before going to this dentist! Tina more

They'll try to sell you procedures you don't need. Get a second opinion before signing on. I wish I had.....your wallet will thank you. more

I have been a patient in this practice for a little over a year. I feel like I have to write a review because I had a completely different experience from the other reviewers. I went in with a broken tooth. I called and the girl who answered the phone was nice and got me in the same day. The dentist saw me quickly and did a root canal and crown that same day. I have gone back for my regular check ups ever since. The office staff is friendly and seem to really care. I don't know about the guy doctor that was mentioned above because I saw a woman dentist. I have recommended this office to friends and no one has ever told me anything but good things. I would give them a try if you are looking for a state of the art place. BTW-they do digital x-rays and have a machine that makes your crowns the same day! more

My husband and I have both used this office with some satisfaction until recently. Twice they rescheduled my husbands appointment for a cleaning which is a major inconvenience with his work schedule. when he showed up at their convenience he was told the hygienist had already left. They continually try to up sell procedures and seem out to get all the money they can. We will not be returning. more

After much contemplation, I have decided to write this review. I had a substantial amount of dental work done at this office. The dentist who worked on my teeth seemed very friendly at first, but I noticed that when I came in to get my teeth adjusted for the work that he had done, he was no longer friendly. Instead, he gave me a "sigh" and made me feel like I was no longer welcome, and that he was really tired of seeing me. I went in there because my teeth were still uncomfortable after the procedure, not because I wanted to kill time. So to have somebody treat you as if you are wasting their time is very upsetting. However, when I had brought up other concerns about a different tooth, he seemed excited again and told me that I might need that tooth fixed also (which he told me could be an expensive procedure). Diamond Dental was not the experience I expected. I went there for a simple exam,cleaning,and X-ray covered by my insurance. Instead of welcoming me as a new patient and saying come on in, what can we do for you today as a person and new patient, they said we cannot verify your insurance. I had already signed a consent form which to me means that I would pay any expenses that insurance would not cover. They advertise by the way a $39 special for exam,cleaning,and x-rays which I would be more than happy to pay for if my insurance would not cover. My understanding is that they wanted to verify my exact coverage with the insurance company which in my eyes tells me, they want to see how much they can bill the insurance company for and get away with. . Instead of caring first and foremost about the patient as a person, they look at you as the means to pay for their big pretty office!
