Love that they can make create something special just for you or there is such a large variety of items that are already made up so you can pop in and out really fast. Special Order 1/12/2011

What a great place! I needed a special order of pistachio truffles for my husband for Christmas, and it was no problem at all, even though I could tell they were extra busy. They really enjoy going above and beyond for their customers. The people are also friendly and helpful and always offering a sample or two. There is so much variety that I try something new every time and a few of my favorites. It is my ""go to"" place for gifts for birthdays, secretary's day, or just a special something to recognize a co-worker. And, I can't help getting a treat or two for me! more

Best Dark Chocolate Selection Ever! 9/24/2010

I experienced Schakolad Chocolate for the very first time this past June when my office relocated to the area and when I say they can't keep me out of there...they just can't! Being a dark chocolate fanatic, Schakolad has an array that totally fits my fancy. At present, my absolute faves are the ""Almond Dark Bark"" and the ""Dark Peanut Butter Cup"". Not only do they have a wide selection of chocolates and creative molds, the personalities of everyone from Craig to all staff I've encountered is an instant draw. Very delightful chocolates, very delightful people! Run, don't walk! more

I can't recommend Schakolad strongly enough. The wide selection of truffles and other chocolates allows you to tailor your gift to the tastes of your recipient whether it be nuts, fruits, cookies, or ganaches. Also if you are looking for something special and memorable for your business they have the creativity and capacity to make what you need no matter who you are. I've used Schakolad for orders for a Fortune 500 business, for a small business, and for personal orders and they've provided excellent service and solutions at every level. Those orders have included a chiseled 10 pound logo centerpiece, a custom-designed truffle and chocolate-covered strawberry tree, chocolate tool kits, various large chocolate molds (Santas, Drummer boys, Houses, etc), caramel and chocolate covered apples, and numerous baskets, platters, and boxes of chocolates. Every recipient has thoroughly expressed enjoyment of the chocolate and just as importantly have been impressed with my selection of the gift and remembered it for a long time. My family has been a customer since Schakolad opened. It's a wonderful place for gifts for any occasion, or if you just want to pick up a treat for yourself. The chocolates are delicious, whether you try the flavored truffles or opt for the plain pieces. We have given gifts from here numerous times and have always been thanked enthusiastically. Our daughter, son, and their college roommates always looked forward to goodie boxes that contained Schakolad treats. Our most recent gift was a box of assorted truffles that we took to our daughter's host family in Lyon, France, and they loved it!!! Craig is friendly and helpful. It's a delight to visit his shop. more

My secret weapon for amazing Corporate Gifts 6/19/2010

I use these guys for my corporate gift baskets that I send to customers every Christmas and also for my thank you business gifts. I have relied on Schakolad for over 7 years now and the service and product are SUPURB. It?s extremely important to me that I can be assured the basket will arrive as promised and that it will be very impressive to my customers. I have had nothing but rave reviews from my customers over the years. I absolutely love that I can have the chocolate personalized with whatever message I want to put on it and being creative with this has helped me close deals. Schakolad also did a wonderful chocolate spread for a wedding reception for me 3 years ago. There?s so much unreliable service out there these days. When you can find an outfit like this you can trust to get things right the first time it?s an invaluable tool. These guys have been my great little secret weapon for corporate gifts. Middle of the Road 5/24/2010

Absolutely nothing special here. The people are nice but the chocolate is just not as good as a box of chocolates from a corner drugstore unfortunately, specially considering the prices. They say European, but their chocolate is nowhere near the quality of Neuhaus or Lindt. They have a cute selection of specialty molds but just don't expect the chocolate to be that great. more

Schakolad is not only a feast for taste-buds but also a delight for the eyes. The shop is always stocked with seasonal themed chocolates items - all wrapped beautifully for gift giving even if the gift is just for you! It's my favorite place to shop for unique gifts while picking up a few goodies for myself. Don't see exactly what you want? The staff is happy to consult on a custom pieces that can be made from their numerous molds and personalized with a handwritten chocolate messages. While the chocolates are divine, the shop truly shines in the staff and owners Sheree and Craig. They go out of their way to make sure each customer is treated special. Best Little Secret in Sandy Springs/ Dunwoody! 3/29/2010

Schakolad in Sandy Springs is a wonderful shop!! Originally I went there for baking chocolate but found they also have a GREAT selection of sugar-free chocolate. The sugar-free dark bark is my favorite. It's so a fabulous place for gifts for every holiday, birthday and thank you including a three-dimensional piano! I also purchased a chocolate champagne bottle and glasses which I placed on top of the cake for a 50th anniversary party. The owners Craig & Sheree and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The sweet smell of chocolate upon entering Schakolad Chocolate Factory is like no other. The variety the owners, Craig & Sheree D'Egidio provide at their store - Jamaican Rum, Orange Peels, Champaigne, Peanut Butter Cups and Coconut Clusters to name a few - are like no other that have passed my lips, each hand dipped with the finest chocolates. One taste of the 65% cacao dark chocolate and I was hooked! The care they give each customer truly makes you feel like an individual, and their specialized products give options for all including New Years, Valentine's, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, St. Patty's Day, Weddings, Birthdays, and even ADULT NOVELTIES! I have not found anything better in the many years I've been frequenting the store! Pros: Great selection of chocolates. Customized orders! Never heard or knew of Schakolad Chocolate until one of my clients requested some items be purchased for gifts from Schakolad of Sandy Springs. After walking into the location and seeing the operations, the people working the location and meeting the owner, I knew this was the place I needed to shop for all my ""sweets"" needs. They have every special item you could ever imagine and also a great imagination for ways to create things you dream. Try them and I know you'll love them. The best chocolate anywhere! 11/18/2009

I live nearby but had never gone into the shop. I was looking for a gift to take on an out of town trip to visit relatives and wanted something representative of Georgia. I was considering River Street Sweets but when I went online to find a location, I read great reviews about Schakolad and how the taste of their chocolate was far superior to others. I stopped by and tried the chocolates and was amazed. Our out of town relatives thought they were amazing. My husband and I have tasted and brought back well known brands of Parisian chocolates as well as those from recommended specialty shops in Paris, and we still believe the dark chocolate truffles from Schakolad are the best we have ever tasted. There is no better treat for us than to slowly savor one and as it melts, to wash it down with a good cabernet. Pros: Fabulous chocolate more
