My parents purchased a home on Detroit Westside. They have been trying to get DTE to come out\r
and connect a cable from the house to the pole. It has been over (2) months to no avail. We take turns calling to see when the service will be connected/turned on. Everytime we call we get excuse after excuse. This has been going on since November 14, 2008. Everytime we call, its a different story."" we don't see your paper work, no one put an order in, we have to see what equipment is needed"" and the list goes on and on. It is costing them money to pay for a hotel all because of the extremely poor customer service at DTE.
Cons: DTE took the complaint, but never resolved the problem.
