Designer Re Runs

Was at this amazing store today. I read the tips below and was so surprised to read anything negative. The owner is friendly, smart, interesting and kind. Her store shows how much she cares. People this is not your average ""thrift"" shop. Quality merchandise and you CANNOT beat the prices. Do go to browse and relax. It is definitely a boutique atmosphere with lots to choose from! This store is amazing! The woman who owns the store is very kind. She has great merchandise. It is not a child oriented store, because woman come there to relaxe and shop. The place is decorated and originized very well. It also has great prices. It is a must go. I garentee you will love it! more

Excellent choices. So what if the owner is not the friendliest. If I have extra money in my pocket that is what counts. Seriously, I don't want children running around in this place since it is not huge. Leave children at home! The owner takes pride in her merchandise, displays it well. I have been at the other consignment shops in the area and you cannot compare quality, cleanliness, pricing and accessories to this place. I guess my focus is on getting what I am shopping for not so much how friendly the owner is. I must say, she has always been very nice to me. more

The owner, who is always working the register, is probably one of the most negative people I've ever come into contact with. Absolutely oozing rudeness. I brought my kids in with me once, (ages 9 and 13 at the time) and she yelled at my son when he went to follow me upstairs, claiming there were no men allowed upstairs. My mom has been going here for many, many years and just finally decided she's had enough. She says it isn't worth leaving with such a bad feeling. She also suspects that the owner isn't honest. When my mom has consigned her things here and signed off on having them donated to charity, if they didn't sell, she then saw them on the racks the following year. It seems that the owner has found a way to make the full profit. The store is decent but appeals to women over forty and bigger sizes. It was very hard to find anything under a size 6. There is a better second hand store in Emmaus with incredibly nice staff, I'm not promoting their store and have no affiliation with them, just Google second hand stores in Emmaus. more

I have been shopping at this store, with Kay for all the years she has been in business. She is not a hands on person, unless you ask her, as she allows the freedom to the customer, to roam 3 floors, and try on the items, hoping the people will return the clothes to the racks, also be neat. I have never had an unkind experience on a piece of clothes, and have bought dozens a year. I Recommend Designer to all sizes, as she has the largest variety, up to 3x, and there are dressing rooms on the 1st floor also, though that one is small. Knick knacks, art, Chico jewelry, designer purses/nwt, and fabulous 1000's of shops, all on the basement and 1st floor, Avid readers can get the Best materials here. Also scarves, belts, sweaters, coats, s suits, and depending on the season, you will find it. She also prices based on timely dates in the store. She benefits herself, and Her consignor. You can pick up or donate to charity organizations, and she has a contract, all information you need to find. Kay is there 7 days, and is solely the one who Makes all the work flow smoothly. She has some off days, though Perhaps People do not see hos UNKIND mall people are, and not even Informed. I prefer Designer, as Kay as textile knowledge and does a wonderful display line, in the front porch, and all floors. \r The landscaping is swell, as is parking clean, orderly,\r \r As a boutique type with Monstrous racks, and breakables, this is Not a place for kids. IF You are a parent..leave them at home. \r Noone likes kids on steps or screaming,\r I really do not; in places,.so many do this. Kids are not with the parents, so they do crawl under racks.\r It should be, with these mothers, or women,I think,.you break, you Buy???? I would recommend this store to anyone I know, and have, \r Shopping is a short term or a stop in. Weekend Hours. The owner of this place, who also works there the most, is so rude and stares at you with a bad look the whole time. Even when you ask a question she acts like you are bothering her. Not worth it Cons: Rude more

This is the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. I purchased merchandise from this woman to the tune of 5 hundred dollars. When I called to let her know it was defective she told me that it was too bad and she did not want to speak to me about it. I tried to get her to at-least hear me out instead she chose to hang up on me. I suppose I will never see the money or resolve the issue but I would like to give fair warning to any one considering doing business with her or her shop Designer reruns. She is a dishonest business woman who really needs to take a few hundred classes on customer service. Cons: Bad Merchandise more

At first, I found the owner to be a little distant, but I tend to be overly friendly - especially for a Yankee! If you take the time to talk with her, you will find that she is quite nice and very interesting. It's hard to consign if you go into a shop feeling like you are being judged through your clothing. This shop owner knows her stuff and she knows what will and what will not sell. She is tough, because she has to be - there are a lot of shops out there and the competition is fierce! Give this shop a try as a buyer first. I think you will be impressed with the selection. Take a moment to talk with the owner - she is really quite nice! As far as the prices - well, this isn't Goodwill or the Salvation Army. This woman has rent or taxes to pay! Pros: All sorts of brands ! Cons: Needs more clothing for Plus Sizes! more

This is a great shop, unfortunately the owner is not! She is RUDE! I have both bought and sold items for years, but do not like her bad attitude. I have heard the same from many other people that have frequented this store. It's a wonder she has any business! Pros: great items Cons: rude owner! more

Just walking through the door of this shop was a mistake. The saleswoman's combative attitude was such a turnoff, I won't be going back in to pick up my items that don't sell. You can find beautiful clothing here at a high end consignment shop price. What do I mean by that? Example: A black Chico's shirt will cost you around 78 dollars new. She sells it for 25 dollars. \r She doesn't just sell clothes. She sells shoes, jewelry, purses, bedding, accessories, mirrors, nick nacks, holiday decorations, and picnic baskets. \r Most of the clothing, etc, is used, but you can find some new items with the tags still on them. I bought a brand new denim jumper recently for 13 dollars.\r Her shop is huge. She has three floors. The first floor is coats and shoes, mostly. The second floor is fancy dresses, regular size shirts, shoes, purses, and accessories. The third floor is plus sizes and pants, skirts, nick nacks.\r I recommend it, but don't be surprised if her prices are higher than other consignment shops. Just an FYI.\r Finally, the owner is friendly, but not overly so. She is pretty much all business. Just so you know. Pros: great selection of stuff, easy to get to Cons: higher end prices more
