Denver Diner DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! 8/24/2011

My 3 friends and I went there for an early morning breakfast before going to work on Wednesday morning. Miss I KNOW EVERYTHING MONICA barely had time to scribble down our order, did not ask us for drinks, just simply shoved waters at us & slopped down our food. more

Denver Diner Worst experiance i have ever had, and i did not even get to eat! Managers Monica, Mark and Matt would not even talk to us after they messed up and did not get our food. Will not be going back more

Their food is like morning sickness 8/2/2010

I've been there several times. Location is great, prices are good and fair. Food is good too.. until it comes up. I'm not the only person who has ate there and immediately felt sick. This is ultimately why I stopped coming here. The place gets heavily crowded so do yourself a favor, head over to Tom's or Pete's. But never Mama's. Pros: good food for a good price. Cons: chucking the good food in the parking lot. more

Awesome diner 9/19/2009

This diner is one of the best in denver. Pete's kitchen may have the edge but you don't feel claustrophobic when you are eating here. The grilled cheese and vegetarian omelette are amazing. I know that sounds silly, but they are. This is the perfect place to go late at night when you have drunk munchies, and you don't want to wait in line at benny blancos, Pete's kitchen, or two fisted marios. You may have to deal with drunks but let's face it if you are here at 2 in the morning you're just as wasted. Pros: great food, service, and atmosphere Cons: their chocolate milk tastes weird more

Don't eat here 9/14/2009

After a breakfast meeting with a colleague, I left with them for one hour and my car was towed within that time. There are no signs saying you can't park there. It cost me $220.00 to free my car. When I went in to ask what happened to my car the waitress said, and I quote: ""There is no free parking in Denver"". Next time, why not post a sign in your parking lot. They have lost my business forever. Pros: The food is average as well as the service Cons: Don't park in their lot and leave for a few minutes more

my friends and i usually go to the denver diner after a nite of partyin' but tonight we're stayin home to party, but it's always our ritual to go to the diner on the weekend. just have a min before i'm cocktailin, & have never written a review, so just wanted everyone to know denver diner is the place to be - especially on the weekends/ we all like it when it's jammin & packed with other partiers killer food & staff, including manager (the good one) goooooo denver diner it's THE PLACE TO BE Pros: everything is good - food & waitresses - even the manager Cons: could use more parking more

I was in Denver a couple of weeks ago the taxi driver said ""THIS PLACE TO BE ANYTIME"" I was there about 4pm and the service was excellent!!! Great food, friendly waitstaff and especially the manager's personalized service gave me the best dining experience of dining in denver colorado! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant anytime you are in denver. more

Reveiw of the 5pm till 11pm service 5/26/2006

The service on this shift is awful! You need a act of congress to keep your coffee cup full and most of the wait staff seem brain dead and they complain about having to be there. Even the manager on duty seems like he does not want to provide customer sevice to any one. But the graveyard shift and the 7am to 3pm provide some of the best service you can receive, and the coffee is always fresh. I guess the 5 till 11 is reserved for the brain dead servers and manager. I will NEVER go in there at this time spot again. Pros: morning shift, graveyard shift, the food Cons: 5 to 11pm shift, stale coffee 5 to 11p more

The Denver Diner is a good place to go late at night. I've been going for a few years and the service there is excellent. They get you seated as quick as you can and you usually have food in front of you within 15 minutes of being seated. The food is decent diner food and the crowd there late at night is always entertaining. Pros: Fast, Good Late-night, Interesting Crowd more

Great food and it arrives piping hot! Great portion sizes and solid service. Huge drawback is the smoking aspect of the patrons and the greasy walls (due to the confined nature and inadequate exhaust fans). Pros: Food, portions, food temp Cons: bit dirty, smoking patrons, riff-raff more

Ya gotta love Diner food! 2/20/2004

Yeah, it's not a black-tie, romatic bistro. So what! What it is is a great old-style diner. You might find yourself sitting next to a homeless man in for a bowl of soup or a group of college kids after a concert. The bottom line is that the food is good, relatively cheap and the place is just fun. So, put your attitude away and stop in for some good solid food! Pros: Price, Service, Atmosphere more

Late night haven 1/8/2003

Imagine trying to find a late night (after midnight) place to eat, driving from Castle Rock, thru DTC, thru Englewood and Littleton, eventually up Broadway to Spear and THERE IT IS! THE BEST ""Greasy Spoon Diner"" shining in the dark snowy night. The MASS CONFUSION is not to be missed, it sounds terrible but even if you're stone cold sober, it's a good meal at oh-dark-thirty in the morning. Also home of great: corned beef hash, crispy bacon, supurb scrambled eggs, and everyting else you want at ""Oh-my-god-it's-late/early"" in the morning. graveyard heaven 10/21/2002

I've worked the Graveyard shift downtown for years and this is a great place to be a 3:30 am. Good food, lots for the money and you will meet people from every walk of life. The only place I know of that uses an off duty armed Denver Policeman as the cashier of Friday and Saturday night. more
