We went there around 8pm on a Friday night and the place was packed. There were 7 of us and they don't take reservations on the weekends (and yes, Friday night is considered part of the weekend), so we had to wait a bit. Once we were seated, the service was good. My husband and I both had the flat iron steak with summer salad. Amazing! Peppery steak and fresh crunchy greens. I can't wait to go back and have it again. Another friend got the figs and polenta, which I tasted, and it was yummy too. Sweet and creamy, balanced with a saltiness that tied it together. For dessert the table split a creme brulee and a strawberry-rhubarb crumble. Both were excellent. The server brought our other friend the wrong port, but quickly replaced it and let us keep both glasses. She also brought us the wrong bill and even though it was less money, honesty dictated that we point it out. All was corrected with many apologies and despite all that, I can't wait to go back and get that steak again! Yum!
