Delta Air Lines Inc

We had a very bad experience with Delta at Lester B.Pearson Intl. Airport in Toronto . Our flight to Atlanta took off but was cancelled about 10 min. into the flight due to a nose gear malfunction. When we landed we were told we would miss our connecting flight and given a 1 800 # to call to try to rebook. We managed to rebook on an A.C. Flight to Atlanta that afternoon but when we got to the A.C. check in the Delta person had somehow put my name on both boarding passes so Air Canada refused to let my friend board.I had locator numbers for both names but they were Delta numbers so apparently meant nothing to A.C. The Delta people with one exception were rude and unfriendly. One employee said most of them were getting laid off in a week so they didn't really care what happened. This is scary. more

Delta used to be one of my favorite airlines to travel on. Actually it was the only airline I traveled on. However, now there prices are too high, and the service has gone downhill, since they started making cut backs. You pretty much have to bring your own food and have a picnic on the airplane these days, because if you sit in coach, no matter how long the flight (except maybe overseas), they don't give you food anymore, and they don't even have it for sale anymore either. more

Atlanta is Delta's hub and a good/bad airline to be associated with right now. Since they are in major financial trouble, it's a flip of the coin to rather or not they will file bankrupcy and limit they service. I really have no choice to what airline that I'm attached to since my city is so piss poor, it connects primarily only to Atlanta. Everyone has their bad experiences with public service but it's all apart of that package of life. more

I used to fly delta a lot until they had that big mishap with comair and i was stuck for a week even though they would tell me that the flight was going out i'd drive all the way there almost board and then they would cancel it. I just dont trust them after that any more. And there prices have gone up considerabley more
