Del's Bar & Restaurant

I miss going to Dells. I miss the way it was years ago. Pre-Bugs and Pre-yelling?Pre-overpriced. I guess nothing stays the same. Maybe if enough of us old-timers told the truth on how it used to be maybe Dells would pay attention and go back in time just a tad. Stop yelling in front of customers-it makes us upset! Bugs can go away cheaply if they use a Bloomfielder. An oldtime Bloomfielder may even take care of that part just as being friendly.-Thats the word I am looking for Friendly.This is probably what I miss most of the old Dells . I would pay the quite large price increase-if only The bugs were gone and the friendly(no yelling at workers so loud it hurts my ears)Friendly! Once again I miss the old Dells! Out of all the restaraunts in Bloomfield,it was my favorite.Oh well-out with the old and in with the new-Goodbye and GodBless! more

I have been to this bar for happy hour with my work several times. It is great and usually they have someone from our work as the quest bartender. The beer selection was good and the service was great. The was good for people to hang out and talk. The food was decent for bar food. It is located just on the other side of the Bloomfield bridge. more

Right at the base of the Bloomfield bridge is Del's...Pittsburgh's little Italy. This has been a hometown favorite for a long time. The food is excellent, the service is great, the atmosphere however is average. They do have one of the best chicken dishes i have ever had. They also have a great idea for kids....they can create their own pizza and then they cook it....it is a great way to entertain the little ones...they bring out the dough and sauce and cheese, you pick the toppings and they bring them out as well. Then your child assembles the pizza and the cook it. the wine prices were average - a good place to dine! more

A good family owned Italian restaurant. They have a nice variety of food. It is really good and the servings are huge. They have a small bar. The people who work here very much care about this place and doing a good job. It is a comfortable inviting atmosphere with good food. They run a fabulous lunch buffet. A great place to take mom or dad for that special day or even just because. more

Del's isn't anything to rave about. It's okay, but nothing special. The best thing about Del's is that the early bird special goes until 8 pm! Accordingly, prices are low. The special includes a very bland salad of mostly iceberg lettuce, a soup, an entree, and a small dessert. The decor is traditional in a sense, but plain. Maybe the bar scene is more interesting. more
