Fastic Marina! 6/22/2011

We pulled in to Delaware City Marina to spend one night and ended up for four nights. The marina is first rate. Great dock hands, woderful gift shop and ship's store. Everyone was polite and very helpful; and go above and beyond anyting expected. The town was a real treat. For 10 years we stopped at Chesapeake City or Summit North, but this experience was head and shoulders above our best expereince at either of the other two C&D stop-overs. more

Great Place, Undiscovered, Super People 8/14/2009

I always stopped at another place along the C&D Canal. Not anymore.\r \r Read about Delaware City in the Doziers 2009 Waterway Guide. Glad I did.\r \r Filled up with fuel and saved about 30 cents a gallon & they gave me the paperwork to get more back from the state.\r \r GREAT!!!! Town. Super people. Very helpful. And they seem to always have something happening in town during the summer. Pros: Staff, prices, faciilty, town more
