On 6/30/09, they sent a service person to service our copier. He did not seem to be familiar with our unit (he kept receiving instructions over his cell phone on what to do). During troubleshooting, he burned up the copier's power supply, which was functioning fine until he arrived. He apologized, and assured us that Deike's would locate a replacement unit shortly so they could continue troubleshootting the original problem. A month went by, and, despite repeated unanswered phone calls by us, we had no communications from them. We finally were forced to send them a registered letter stating that, unless they rectified their mistake, we would call another service company, instruct them to repair the damage done by them, and send them the bill. This produced results. On 8/3/09, another service person sent by Deike's repaired the damage done by them and the original problem. Bottom line: We could not use our copier for over a month, and, if we had not sent them the threatening letter, we would still be waiting. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! We ought to know. We have been in the service business for over 40 years (medical equipment) and we have never treated a customer like this.
