When I took my cat in they had a horrible time handling him and then insisted on keeping him there for 10 hours. When I called to pick him up they wanted me to leave him there overnight, when I refused they said he would be ready in 20 minutes - Yes, they kept a stressed out cat 10 hours for a procedure that took less than 20 minutes (resetting a dislocated toe). When I asked why, they told me that it was because there had been a dog fight. Very clearly they prioritize the pet coming in; dogs first other animals second.
And as a heads up to dog owners, a dog they were treating escaped the dog enclosure. I don't know if they ever found it, but there were signs up for months looking for that dog.
