I've got to leave Bayspring 7/11/2008

I have been seeing Debra Osman for ten years. It has always been difficult to get an appointment, but, now that I have a serious medical condition, it is nearly impossible. (In the past, it didn't really matter if my physical was scheduled in six months. Now that I need care, I can't wait that long.) Getting a referral to a specialist took three weeks and 19 phone calls, because every message I left and fax I sent seemed to get "lost." Dr. Osman has been particularly uninterested in finding out the cause of my medical problem, and during the time she has ignored it, it has morphed into something really serious. I am deeply dismayed and plan to find a new care provider as soon as I fine one. more

great group of women doctors and staff 6/8/2007

the last review is RIDICULOUS... but if she wants to move on, that's great. it's hard to get an appointment here because the service is outstanding and they are always booked up. the doctors, nurses and staff are all quite friendly and always have been. i have had many appointments at bayspring and have never had anything but excellent, excellent treatment. i have never waited for an appointment, i have been talked to in a very courteous way by everyone in the office and all of my questions have been answered. sometimes people need to stop and think - if they are being treated rudely, it may just be a reflection of the way they are treating those around them. more

Horrible Office Staff 3/2/2006

Every time I call to try and make an appointment or talk to a nurse practitioner I have had a bad experience. I am almost always put on hold for 10 minutes and then treated incredibly rude by the receptionist. They never say hello or good-bye and seemed completely annoyed that you need to make an appointment. Today I had a nurse practicionaire hang up on me when after a frustrating conversation about a prescription refill for thyroid medicine. I've been going to Bayspring for years, but now am going to move on to try and find a more considerate and caring practice. Unfortunately the doctors were usually pretty good once at Bayspring once you get past the office staff, but I just can't deal with poor customer service anymore! more

totally engaged, personable, and thoughtful 9/23/2004

Dr. Osman is totally engaged, personable, and thoughtful. Of particular note, unlike all other doctors I've ever met, she explains to you in layman's terms AND in medical terms exactly what she's doing, when she's doing it, and why. In other words, she does not condescend by either talking baby-talk or oversimplifying medical issues or by talking in full medical jargon that you'd need an M.D. and 5 years of residency to understand. Importantly, she provides excellent, thorough medical care and she actively thinks of ways to help you, beyond what you've requested. Finally, she follows through: after every major test you've had is forwarded to her attention, she calls and tells you she's received it and what she thinks are appropriate next steps. more
