It's not the swankiest by any means, but it's a good hotel. Can't beat the location. Lots of little problems with room when we checked in, but the staff took care of them immedia...

Not so bad 2/28/2005

We were leary about staying here after reading negs & after having initial reservations incorrect. The rate on the dates we wanted was $40/night more than quoted & days would not give us that rate or even meet half way; even though it was their mistake!! On arrival we were told our reservations were for a queen Non-smoking; instead of queen smoking; as requested. We were offered a double in smoking; but ended up w/ the queen non-smoking. Did allow check in 2hrs. early. Room clean & everything worked, beds comfortable. Not too noisy, walls thin & neighboring room noises annoying. Evident that hotel has been repaired, but just lowbudget cosmetically, needs major updates. Overall, rooms clean everything worked. Excellent location. Comforatble & cheap for NYC. Would reccommend on this account & save your money for fun. DON'T believe all the negs.; but DO confirm everything several times before going! Pros: LOCATION, Price, Clean Cons: Needs renovated, Thin walls, Staff service more

Misleading photos 10/13/2004

I stayed at the Days Hotel this past weekend and the only good thing I can say about it is that it is in a good location that's close to everything. The pictures on the internet were VERY misleading. I paid the extra $ for the upgraded floor and let me tell you...I can only imagine what the non-upgraded floors look like!!!! The sheets had holes and the curtains were stained. Not to mention that the lady at the info. desk was extremely rude!!! For my next trip I will not be going back to the Days Hotel! more

Good Value 11/9/2003

It's not the swankiest by any means, but it's a good hotel. Can't beat the location. Lots of little problems with room when we checked in, but the staff took care of them immediately. Staff isn't overly gregarious, by any means, but it is very efficient. Good size rooms, as compared to some of the older, recently renovated hotels in the area at similar prices. Only drawback was no individual climate controls for each room, and our weather switched from cool to warm, which made the heated rooms very uncomfortable. But we'll go back. Pros: Location, Efficient Staff, Restaurant Cons: Climate Control more
