Jon came out to fix a clog in a basement sink, noticed some animal holes outside and casually suggested we get our sewer line scoped sometime in the future. A few months later, we did and discovered that he was right, there were holes in the line nearest to the house and, farther away, the entire line was on the verge of collapse (which would have meant tearing down our garage to fix). Day and Nite sent out a team to replace the part of the line with holes, and coated the rest of the thing with a resin that should prevent the line from collapsing. Although it was a financial hit (they had financing options to help spread out the cost), it could have been SO much worse, and they took care of the issue with remarkable speed and efficiency. I'm thankful that I followed through on Jon's advice and didn't wait until I had sewage backing up into my house, which has happened to several people I know in the Everett area. 100 year old sewer lines are not to be trifled with! more

Got their help last winter. Since my heating required major fix and was financially challenged, they (esp. the business owners)were most kind about meeting my needs and assisted in how it could be affordable. There were a few glitches(scheduling- took bit of time to start the job) but once I communicated with Matt about my concerns(a freezing home cannot be taken lightly!), they were on top of it. Matt was courteous and professional, not the ""over the top-annoying-salesman"" sort of guy. I appreciated very much that Matt always answered the phone calls...and promptly! In my 20 years of property management and real estate, I have conducted business with several plumbers, including Day and Nite plumbing. For several years I was using a good plumber that unfortunatelly moved out of town. In my new search for a plumber, I called several companies for an estimate on a big work, and I got the best estimate from Day and Nite.. They not only saved me hundreds (paid only a third of one of the estimate), they were right to the point, David. the manager that gave me the estimate and Sam the plumber who did the work were very polite, profesional, the best experience with a plumber ever!! I will make Day and Nite my priority call in my next plumbing problem more

My Wife and Kids have allergies an asthema. I called these guys to put in a better filter system on my furnace. Here is my review... Details: I bought a new house. The previous owners had dogs. This really aggrevated my kid's Asthema and my Wife's allergies. I called these Day & Nite out to see if I could get a better filtration system on my existing furnace that would do better then the thin media filter already in place. Sales People: They were informative and not pushy. He gave me a lot of options and his opinion of why one was better then the other. More informative than others that quoted me. Technicians: The guy worked hard and didn't waste a lot of time. Seemed to do his job effeciently, and everything looked professional and clean. Product: I had a Sun UV filter w/ Titanium Dioxide Catalyst & a Larger media filter. So far so good. My wife says she can tell a difference. Follow-up: I've called a few times and they have aways been able to answer my questions in a timely manner. Price: They weren't the cheapest but they were the most knowlegeable and weren't trying to ""sell"" me but give me options on what they think would help me out the most. That's worth more to me then the cheapest quote. more

We had some flooding in our basement happen due to storm water. Day and Nite Plumbing was out right away to help figure out the drainage issue. Not only were they very professional and obviously cared about a top quality job, they got back to me quickly and were affordable. After my husband and I were puttering around trying to figure out what was going on, I was astounded at their speed and knowledge in attacking our problem. There's nothing like having professionals!!! more

Called Day and Night Plumbing to do a service for my gas furnace and the service person Christopher Bryant found an unsafe condition in my furnace (CO2 levels were high) and looked into it further and found that it was improperly installed and the secondary heat exchange had rusted out. He ordered a new one and installed it in now time. He was a true professional and probably saved our lives. I would hate to think what would have happened if I had turned the furnace on in the fall without it being fixed. more

We wanted to have a new WaterSense rated toilet installed to reduce our water bill. Doug Goodrich arrived on time for the appointment and efficiently removed the old toilet and installed a TOTO toilet. He was careful to put down tarps to protect our carpet and even cleaned up the flooring around the old toilet before installing the new one. Doug was polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Day & Nite and Doug Goodrich to others. more

Each person we encountered during our experience with Day & Night Plumbing was truly a competent professional. We had intended to get several bids, but when Randy Shirley came out and presented the product, there was no need to look further. He stayed in touch and coordinated the work schedule with kind patience (my husband?s work schedule is erratic and it wasn?t easy getting both of us to sit down with him). The expertise of each technician was evident in every phase, and they were neat, fast, personable. The heat provided is even and so convenient! We were surprised to see our electric bill only went up a small amount. The unit stays on at 62; we live in a block house on a slab floor and depend on woodstove/pellet stove for heat. No heat for longer than 12 hours used to require 6-8 hours to warm up the house; now it stays comfortable all winter. Set at 68, it kept us cozy during the really cold days as additional heat. We look forward to a summer requiring the air conditioning portion of the unit! We are thrilled with the heat pump and our only regret is not having it installed sooner! more

My heat pump was freezing up. I called them at 4:00 and someone was out there by 5:15... not bad. It was still under warranty so they spent about two hours fixing it. I didn't have to pay a dime. Pros: Helpful & Excellent problem solvers! more

We recently had a new furnace installed by Day & Nite P&H and couldn't be happier. They listened to our concerns and recommended what best fit our needs and budget. Additionally, when the county inspector came out to inspect the work, not only did he say it was well done but stated that when the heating company he used to work for couldn't get to a job quickly enough, they only made referreals to Day & Nite because they trusted their quality of work. Of note, they've also done plumbing for us and the work was excellent. Pros: Professional, knowledgeable, & very nice employees Cons: None. more
