On several occasions I have been to David's to shop with friends. They selection is somewhat generic. However, if you hit them at the right time you can get some great deals.

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE 8/4/2010

Treated so poorly . Gowns were poor quality - spent @ the same money at Mederics in Dracut for a BEAUTIFUL gown - unbelievable alterations, so reasonable, and Terry and Dolly were so helpful. The people at Davids were rude, and they truly do not like the customers. more

WRONG DRESS! 7/26/2010

WRONG BRIDESMAID DRESS!!\r Yup, that's right, David's bridal gave me the wrong bridesmaid dress for an out of state wedding. It was not discovered until I got there the night of the wedding. It was the right color, but completely wrong material and style. Oh, and my David's Bridal brand shoe broke the first time I tried it on after being dyed the day of the wedding!\r \r I had went to David's Bridal in Nashua being told by the bride that all the information was in their system. The wedding was down south and the rest of the bridesmaids lived there; I was the only out of towner. I went several months ahead of time on a Saturday. I should have known something was up when they could not find the bride in the system. It took several girls to locate her and the style number. They showed me the dress- which they happened to have in stock and did not need to be special ordered. I was surprised at how young and non traditional the dress was and asked several times if it was really the correct one. They said yes. It was in the system. I signed their final sale agreement and went on my way. \r \r Fast forward 3 months to the wedding. I show up and the other bridesmaids are asking about the necklace I'll be wearing. I comment that the halter doers not really allow for a necklace. They say What halter?!? Ours is strapless. Find out that with less than 24 hours to go I have a completely different dress than the rest of the weddings party!! Different fabric/different style. Tried calling David's bridal in NC, they did not have the dress in stock. There was nothing they could do. Needless to say, It did not go over well! Keep in mind that this disappointment will forever be remembered by the wedding photos!\r \r I called the Nashua NH location and they stated that the dress had been incorrectly put into the system by the Charlotte store. They had seen two dresses in the system. The Nashua store never let me know that there was even a possibility that there may be more than one entered into the system. It could have been easily caught early on. I did not receive any offer of refund for the mistake.\r Cons: Everything more

Love it 5/11/2010

There gowns are at great price never pushy to buy ur gown at time of ur appointment more

For a good customer experience NEVER step foot in there 7/29/2009

Especially the one with the stud in her nose. She is a witch and should be fired. This should be a pleasant experience for a bride and her family instead of a nightmare. \r Everything in the area of customer care is missing. They all need to learn how to deal with people. And the policy of not being able to return a mother of the groom dress in a week that you bought..all tags on, but family did not like dress. Purchased a beauty elsewhere and when I brought my mother of the groom dress back, they said no returns. Now I can understand that on wedding & bridesmaids, etc. But on a regular dress that had all the tags on it, and purchased one week before? No one told me that there was no return policy. I told the girl, it is just a couple of weeks before the wedding -8/7/2009 and that I waitied until now to get a dress. NEVER once was it mentioned that there was a no return policy..nor did I sign a thing. NASTY, RUDE, I have been in Sales in a large company for 23 years and if I ever treated a customer like that I would be fired!! DO NOT GO THERE! Run the other way! Should be 0 stars. They force you to put one on! Pros: A couple of decent folks on floor trying to help Cons: The MANAGER is the worst and the front desk people are rude more

Avoid all David's Bridal stores 10/5/2008

My wife and I just finished with the wedding things, and i'm most glad to never have to deal with David's Bridal ever again. I could write a treatise on why they are the worst store we've ever dealt with but in short:\r -They sold us a slip that we did not need and then did not allow a return (they don't allow any returns for any reason).\r -They charge a FORTUNE for alterations and practically insist that you do it there.\r -They 're-ordered' the wedding dress, but never actually placed the order, resulting in a scramble weeks before the wedding. They then did not acknowledge their mistake and insisted we never re-ordered our wedding dress, yea right.\r -Their customer service is non-existent. They are consistently rude and unhelpful. After you've bought something they treat you terribly.\r \r Basically they are mean and unhelpful with horrible customer service and they try to take your money at every turn. Huge rip-off artists. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This is not your only option. AVOID DAVIDS BRIDAL AT ALL COSTS! Pros: They appear to be the best and biggest Cons: They rip you off and have no shame. Treat you like a cash-machine. more

Davids Bridal: Great customer service and selection 7/24/2008

I went in to purchase my wedding dress 2 months ago and they were so nice. They made sure that I felt like a bride and showed me so many wonderful dresses. I ended up with the first dress I tried on. My Matron of honor and one of my bridesmaids went in to order their dresses and were treated with respect and patience. I went back in with my daughter for her bridesmaid dress and again they were a big help. I have 2 girls that are out of the area. One is from Georgia and the other from London England. I phoned the store with the girls sizes and I was able to order the dress, jacket and shoes. This store has been more then helpful and I would recommend them to anyone who is going to be married. \r \r Carol Anne Robinson Pros: customer service, selection, dressing area more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! 6/29/2008

I would honestly like to give them 0 stars as a rating, but that is not an available option. The David's Bridal in Nashua was probably the worst shopping experience I have ever had in my entire life. As the bride, I wanted the experience to be pleasant for myself and the bridal party and was hoping at the least that the employees at David's Bridal would be polite and treated like human beings. I had to visit David's Bridal 4 times for myself and my family (some of whom were flying in from out of country) and they did nothing but make us feel like we were bothersome and an inconvenience. \r \r After purchasing our dresses, we had to go in for alterations, which I may say was the WORST part of the customer service (I'm not sure that is a good word for what they provided us with). The employees stuffed my bridesmaids (mother and daughter) into the same room to put their dresses on (a little akward when putting on your strapless bras since they are both grown women). The woman was also complaining that she had to pin down my sister's dress (maid of honor that had just gotten off a 13 hour flight the night before). Only after speaking to the manager, were they any help at all. However neither the manager, or the employees doing alterations offered us any apology for their outrageous complaints (to do their job) and their unwillingness to help. \r \r Unless you are a desperate bride that enjoys being treated like a piece of disposable ""trash,"" I would not recommend going to the David's Bridal in Nashua. \r \r Pros: Honestly there are not enough pros to outweigh the horrible service Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE, EMPLOYEES, CUSTOMER SERVICE, EMPLOYEES more

Really bad experience 4/12/2008

I had such a bad experience at this store, not once but twice. I decided to give it a second shot and made another appointment. The salesperson wasn't even there! She was ""out to lunch"" at 3:30 in the afternoon. I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time, when she finally came she didn't even apologize. The service was lousy. She just put me in a room to struggle into the dresses alone, I had to call for help with a corset back and she was no where around. And extremely pushy, wanted to sell me a dress even though it didn't fit right. I went down the road to Mary and Tux and the wonderful salesperson who actually cared that I look good in my dress helped me find the perfect one. David's bridal needs to take some notes on customer service. Pros: Good selection Cons: Bad service, pushy more
