One of the better furniture places in Seattle 3/24/2006

I really like this place. It is not over priced they usually have some great sales deals and you can find some really eclectic stuff. They everything from Asian furniture to Latin furniture. But also just basic stuff too like really nice outside furniture. They also have tons of pots and little stuff to decorate your house. I highly recommend going here if you are looking for pieces for your house. more

Get transported to another world! 1/4/2006

I was lucky to stumble upon David Smith & Co, and was surprised to find a store like this in Seattle. Inside I was delighted to find unique antiques from Indonesia and China, as well as smaller antiques and gift items. Be sure to plan to stay awhile as you could easily kill a couple of hours exploring the huge retail space, chatting with the friendly staff and sipping the complementary tea. I was also impressed the the range of prices and to find so many affordable things. more

Great tables, good sourcing but sometimes too pricey!!! 9/10/2004

After realizing we couldn't fill a crate while traveling in Asia, we were happy to arrive home to find this great source for beautiful teak pieces- large sturdy tables, nice chairs,benches etc. We've bought a few pieces - they call it on approval. You get to take it home for a week and feel it out. We have also found that the prices (for tables especially) can be a bit over the top- we ended up with a very similar table from Crate and Barrel. Apparently they have a big sale in October- keep your ears open! more
