I've sent 3 or 4 people there with trans. in hand to have them fixed or rebuilt. 1 was able to be fixed and 2 or 3 were rebuilt for a very economical cost. I haven't heard of any problems. I have seen Dave's to be overwhelmed w/customers at times. But that's the way it is with every successful business. If you as a customer don't wanna wait,go to a shop that has fewer customers. If your a good lookin' female Dave does trades too. Jus' kiddin'. more

My transmission was replaced two years ago by Dave's trans Service. When I took my van in to service it he said I needed a new transmission. I paid 2500 and now it is 20,000 miles later and I went to another shop for the service light engine and that shop told me that my transmission was going out. They referred me back to Dave's and said he should take a look and take care of it since it was so recent and less than 36000 miles. \r When I took it to Dave's he told me it would cost another 1500 to repair and he did nothing to help me out. Dave's told me they found metal pieces in my transmission and wanted to charge me to fix it while other second and third opinions have said that I will need a new transmission. \r He does not guarantee his work. He makes excuses and I don't know if he really ever actually did replace my transmission in the first place. I will never go there again and I strongly do not recommend this shop. \r more

I first went to Trans Service when my transmission first broke. Dave Sr. told me he'd fix it for a really low price and he did. Later on, when it failed again, I took it back to him. He told me he could get it up and running again. I didn't believe it. But a week later, it was running great again. So far, so good. Dave Sr. knows everything there is about cars. He's been there doing that work for over 50 years now, and he's brought Dave Jr. up doing the same thing. This is a shop where they know what they're doing. more

After twice being quoted more that $4000 to repair our broken transmission I was referred here by a friend. The owner took a personal interest in helping us to come up with an affordable solution to get our son back on the road so he would not have difficulty getting to class. Absolutely a 5 star experience and customer service at its finest. more

This is the best repair shop I have worked with. They charged me cost for my parts, they were fast, they were nice, they were much less than the other estimates I got in town. They fixed an axel in a day and showed me excellent customer service too. more

Trans Service is awesome for transmission repairs. They quoted me several hundred dollars cheaper than the dealership where I BOUGHT the car. Thanks for the honest work, and keep it up. more
