Great pizza! Nuff said!

Worst

I was planning on having lunch at Davanni's because I heard it was a great place, apparently I left my car in their parking lot too long. I politely asked to speak with a manager...

The first Davanni's! 11/21/2006

This place has changed a lot through the years, but always has excellent food. And it's the first one! more

Hot Hoagies, Pizza & More at Davanni's 8/13/2006

Davanni's is a locally owned pizza and hot hoagie joint with more than 20 locations throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. I have been eating here for years. I recommend the hot hoagies! The pizza and garlic cheese bread are also good. Calzones, skillets, salads, lasagna, kid’s meals, etc. are available as well. The Cleveland/Grand location is very community-oriented and a great place to eat with family or friends. The service is consistent and the orders are ready in a timely manner. Unfortunately, there is a large smoking section, and finding a place to park can be difficult. You can eat in, order take-out or, if you live in the area, have your food delivered. more

Davannis, but Punch is Better 4/13/2006

While Davannis is a great place to eat, I definately disagree with saying it is the best in the Twin Cities. I would encourage you to try both Punch Pizza on Cleveland Avenue (very close to Davannis) and Cosettas in downtown St. Paul. Both of these pizzas are amazing. However, Davannis still does make great pizza-I'm just saying that these other two are amazing as well. more

Davannis is a good late night pizza place 4/9/2006

Davannis offers a good selection of pizza and hoagies that are an excellent late night snack. I would, however, warn any older people that it is generally a college hangout. Situated right next to the University of St. Thomas, many students find their way here, and can get rather noisy and even anoying. However, they do deliver, and offer pick-up services, but if you are a college kid like me, you may even enjoy the atmosphere. more

Hoagies, Pizza and More 9/25/2005

Davanni's is a great place to go after a game, or to grab on your way home from work. Davanni's serves pizza, pasta and hoagies. Orders may be phoned in and picked up. Otherwise, you can go order and sit in their spacious dining rooms. Davanni's is very reasonably priced and is really good. I am sure it isn't the healthiest option, but who cares when it tastes this good! more

Like the pizza! LOVE the cheese bread! 9/24/2005

Davanni's has my all time favorite cheese bread! Hoagie style bread with garlic butter, lots of cheese, and a pizza dipping sauce! Their pizza is fabulous as well! I personally like the thin crust or traditional. I love it when the pepperonis are cripy from baking! YUM! Their subs are also good, I usually just get the turkey one. They are warm and toasty. They also offer a salad bar, although I have never tried it. The prices are reasonable, the cheesebread is a bargain, and they are always in the Entertainment book so you can save some money! more

Best Pizza in the Cities 8/17/2005

Davanni's has to be, by far, my favorite pizza place in the Twin Cities. This restaurant also offers hoagies, but their pizzas are the real draw, with tons of toppings and crust choices. My favorite is the Chicago style deep-dish with pepperoni. What's even better is that Davanni's is very fast for a pizza place. A peak-hour delivery has never taken more than 45 minutes for me. The only drawback is that the pizza is a little expensive (but definitely worth the price!) and deliveries bring an extra charge automatically. more
