dinner and books! 3/24/2006

This book store is special because not only do they have a huge variety of books to choose from, they also have a restaurant in the bookstore. The Tatnuck restaurant is wonderful on a summer evening. If you are lucky, you will get to sit out on the patio and enjoy the tranquil setting behind the store. Their food is alright but their salads are great. They have a lot of different cuisines to choose from and anything for any taste palate. more

Tatnuck Booksellers, for the whole family 8/21/2005

This privately run bookstore/restaurant has been a major leisure location for many Worcester residents. Being split in two-- half restaurant, half book store, it provides the clientel with both mental and physical satisfaction. The variety of books available is vast, though not absoultly complete, but if your book is not on the shelves, just ask one of the cashiers and they will put an order in, and call you once your book is in stock. The restaurant has great food, and also has a beer tap, so it it suitable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. more

Good independent bookseller 8/21/2005

This is a medium-sized independent bookstore in Worcester. Their main store includes books, gift items, and a restaurant. The bookstore is staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people, and I've never had trouble finding what I need there. However, as a brick-and-mortar bookstore, their prices are obviously higher than online stores, so I recommend this place if you're looking for a book that you need right away. I don't recommend the restaurant; the atmosphere is nice, but it's overpriced and not very good. more

Great atmosphere! 8/20/2005

Tatnuck Bookseller is a great place to spend time and to purchase some excellent reading materials. Not only is this an excellent bookstore and retail store but there is also a nice little restaurant located within the bookstore. The whole store is very comfortable, quiet and cozy. The building has a lot of charm! more

This store is really cool! The staff are all very knowledgeable about books. They can help you find anything. The atmosphere is awesome and you can find all kinds of different books here. If you're a book lover, it's a MUST SEE. They also have a restaurant across the street has a very diverse menu. They also have The Foundry Room, which is a place you can hold meetings. It's an experience! more

Great Community Bookstore 8/7/2005

I always find Tatnuck Booksellers has wonderful selection and a charming array of "odds and ends" that round out their shop from bottles to tarot cards; they even have a cafe that rivals that of any Barnes and Noble I've ever seen. Check out their frequent community events in the store or on their web page for visiting bands and authors and more! more

Restaurant is also available at Tatnuck, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all 7 days a week. They always have some kind of entertaining events at the store. more
