Dan's restaurant in Old Brooklyn may look like a dive, but the food cannot be missed. My family has been eating at this place for years. I've sinced moved away but always trave the 30 minutes from my house to get the Rigatoni. They serve ribs and pizza too that are quite good, but I cannot pass up the rich spaghetti sauce or Dan's salad with extra mozzarella. This is a no muss no fuss dining experience. I have been in search of such authenticity in Little Italy neighborhoods here in Cleveland, New York and Chicago but none compare to the fine italian cusine Dan makes and serves himself. Don't expect to spend much either. This gem is closed on Sunday and Monday and opens at 3pm other days. Take time to dine at Dan's.
Pros: GREAT Italian food
Cons: limited parking in front
