These apartments look great on the inside and outside, but don't be fooled. Our apartment building recently burned at Dakota Ridge, and, not to any of our knowledge, it was the same one that had burned a few years back (detail that would have been nice to know). And, after the fire, no one was willing to help us. We were on our own to find housing right afterwards, and, since I work nights and need to sleep during the day, I let them know that I needed to move so that I wouldn't be disturbed while sleeping. Did they help- NOPE! What they said? ""They should be done by 3 in the afternoon"". Great!! I can sleep from 3-4 PM, so sleeping 1 hour during the day is obviously the same as sleeping 8 hours at night. and forget about letting us move. The manager said ""I have to talk to someone above me about that"". Well, that must have taken a long time, since she avoided us for weeks, and when we finally tracked her down, she said sorry-she couldn't do anything. All we wanted to do was move to another apartment within the community-but no-we couldn't do that either. And there was no way they would let us out of our lease. So, needless to say, the last few weeks, I have had no sleep and my job performance as an ICU nurse has suffered (maybe I should take care of their family members with 1 hour of sleep). And, just recently, there was a flood in the apartment behind me, but no one told me about it. I only found this out when I came home one morning to find all of the tiles in my bathroom bubbled up(one to the point of it cracking),and my floor trim bulging from being water logged. I called the office and asked them to call me with when the would be over (since.once again.I would be sleeping)..and they never did. So i closed the door when I left to go and run some errands so my puppy wouldn't get in there and get something she wasn't supposed to. When I came home, they had painted over the trim, and left my puppy loose in the fume filled apartment, licking the new paint.
Pros: Nice apartments...when the are safe to live in....
Cons: Customer service
