A Hilarious Evening 4/17/2006

Dad's Garage provided us with a hilarious and memorable evening! We were still laughing days later, recalling some of the bits. Located in a huge converted warehouse in Inman Park, the improv provided by actors and actresses is enhanced by interaction from/with the audience. A great time was had by all! more

Fun Improv and Theater 8/20/2005

Dad's Garage was the envy of theaters across the nation for its ability to generate buzz and draw a young audience. That was a mixed blessing as its director was lured away by bigger money in a bigger city, but so far there's no sign that the theater is lagging under new leadership. Dad's Garage mixes it up with great improv nights that change their themes often enough to keep you coming back. They also have plays which aren't improved, but they're fun as well. The shows are fun and the place has a fun and casual vibe. You can take your beer and drinks to your seat and heckles from the audience are encouraged. more

Fun Evening 8/18/2005

Great place to see live performances. This is a small troupe though they have traveling performances quite often too. Cheap and fun date place, but great for groups too. Costs about $13 to enjoy yourself for a couple of hours. Not a place for kids at night but they do have special saturday morning performances just for the little ones. It's a fun funky atmosphere. Sometimes provocative and political performances more

Pretty Entertaining 8/7/2005

This theater seems to always have a show running. I went a few months ago for a murder mystery and loved it. The theater was hard to find, but it was worth the drive. Dad’s Garage has a nice charm to it and seems to sell out fast since it doesn’t have a large seating capacity. The staff is very friendly and it was a nice theater experience for us. more
