I went to the one at Gaviidae along Nicollet Mall. Waited for a pepperoni pizza for almost 15 minutes and I had to pick it up from the counter myself, instead of having them deliver it to my table. When I made a comment to the guy at the counter, 'It took long enough', I didn't even get an explanation or apology. My friends were almost done with their food and I'm just about to start. I think the guy was trying to pretend he didn't hear my comment. Pretentious bunch! Pizza's not worth it! more

  • In Short
Brothers Richard and Larry D'Amico won raves from food critics around the country with their namesake D'Amico Cucina. But it wasn't until they opened informal deli-cafes that most Twin Citians learned what the fuss was about. Everything is fresh, colorful and generously seasoned with herbs and garlic. Smoky hints hide in the roasted turkey sandwich and the grilled vegetables with couscous. The restaurant bakes its own focaccia and crusty breads and pastries.
