GO ELSEWHERE!!!! If you want to be 6/3/2012

GO ELSEWHERE!!!! If you want to be treated with respect and courtesy do not use this CVS. Teresa Hanrahan a pharmacist told my partner off for not bringing her prescription in earlier and they had to stay 10 minutes late to fill it. Which was a total of 40 minutes. Another person dropped of his and left with it filled in the mean time. My partner was told that they don't get paid to stay late and she should have more respect for the people working in the pharmacy. It wasn't her fault they took so long to fill it. more

Poor service 7/28/2011

So we were visiting grandparents in Georgetown and my teenager needed to have her 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. The dentist was kind enough to phone in the prescription at the CVS on our way back to Grandpa's house. I was surprised that there was no drive-thru, as I was accustomed with our local CVS. No prob, I thought..... it was phoned in and will be ready. There were no customers inside, but the Rx had not been filled yet. Real problem came when the tech entered the wrong insurance info and said it was not valid. I am at our local CVS every month, so I said check under my husband's name. She told me our insurance had been canceled! I paid cash so I could get my miserable kid back to Grandpa's house. Insurance assured me there were no problems, and CVS would refund my money. Local CVS said only Georgetown pharmacy could handle it. I called long distance to Georgetown to ask to just credit my card. They basically said they couldn't do anything unless I was standing in front of them. Wow! more

take your business elsewhere 7/1/2011

Rude staff, long lines, poor service. My prescriptions were frequently not ready on time as promised (or ordered over the phone), and I usually had to wait. From the looks of things the staff is overworked and unfortunately it manifests itself in rude treatment of their customers. There is a high turnover of pharmacy staff at this location. I used to use CVS all the time for many years, but after several mishaps and screw-ups with my prescriptions I finally got fed up and had to take my business elsewhere (I highly recommend the Scott and White pharmacy in RR by the hospital...very friendly staff, short waits and no screw-ups...you will be in and out in no time). more

It's a CVS like any other, but pharmacy service varies with the tides. 1/17/2007

It's a CVS like any other, but pharmacy service varies with the tides. Some of the staff are friendly all the time; others just look like they're there to do a job and that's it. There's one woman--can't remember her name, but her mood and willingness to help range from so-so to brash and rude. If you ask too many questions of her, look out. If you just want to breeze in and drop-off/pick-up with no questions, no insurance snags, no problems or inquiries at all, you'll be ok. Pros: It's a CVS Cons: unpredictable customer service more
