I have been going to the Cutting Edge for over 10 years and would have to agree that in 2005 the counter staff was rude and bothered rather than friendly and helpful. I complained then and note that now the staff is friendly and helpful. I think that Turtle311 did get a brand new stylist who may not even be working there anymore. If you select an advanced stylist you will get a wonderful haircut and color process. They also have a calendar full of specials that are offered with 20% off everything on certain days of the month. I always ask "Does it cost me to blow dry my hair?" anywhere I get hair services done. I always speak out when I want a certain cut and if it's inferior I will tell them to find someone else who can do it the way I would like it done. I now have a great stylist who does a great job anytime I need service. This is a great Salon who trys hard to please everyone. more

Was not happy at ALL! Unevenly cut my bangs and didn't cut or shape the hair on the sides and around my face. It was basically like getting half a hair cut. Then when she blow dryed my hair she didn't even use a brush just her fingers (also didn't dry it completely)and then charged me an extra $4. I could have went home and dried my hair better than how she did. more

I only went there for a spray tan before my wedding, the girls behind the counter seemed almost bothered that we would bug them for such a small thing, and I had a lot of streaking, I havent had my hair done so I cant complain about that but was not impressed with the tanning there!! more

If you need to get highlights done go to Melony at the cutting edge. She does a WONDERFUL job. I had my highlights done by her a couple months ago and recently had to get my hair done for a wedding. All the hair stylists were in aww at what a beautiful color they turned out! PROS: Great work! CONS: Kind of pricey more

I have gone to The Cutting Edge a few times now and every single time I go there, either for a cut or to tan, the receptionists are so rude and act so unprofessional. I have heard bad things from other people too, such as a hair appointment being booked with the wrong stylist and no apology when they couldn't fit her in for a cut that night with the right stylist. I definately won't be going back to this salon or reccommending it to anyone. more

The prices are great for a quick hair cut or style. They can not be beat. The staff is also very friendly and helpful with suggestions and ideas for new looks. more
