Much better here! I walked in wearing my pink Longhorn hoodie, and the guy at the counter did not look at me strange at all. He was very friendly. He asked me what I wanted, and I showed him my picture. He told me he was going to get Robert. Robert, my tat artist, looked at my picture, and discussed with me things he could and couldn't do. He also discussed how the picture I wanted tattooed on me would look. Modifications were made. He showed me my future tat, and I asked for one more modification. He was very nice about it, and made the changes. The final picture was much better than what I had originally brought in.\r

The tattooing itself: Robert made sure that my skin was very clean and sterilized. He had the tat machine on high power so that the process would go faster, but he kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. He would use witchhazel to do intermittent cleaning, and my aunt tells me it is also a great natural germ-fighter.\r

After he had done the picture, it was SOOOOO FABULOUS!!!! Then he recommended shading. I was a bit wore out, but he was the artist, and I conceded that he would know what would make it look the best. I'm so glad I did! MY TAT IS THE MOST FABULOUS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r

I am very proud to say that I am the one with the tattoo of a dream catcher with five feathers, and a turtle in the middle. It may not sound like much, but if you go, ask Robert to see the picture. It really is a beautiful work of art! The circle of wood, the ties, the feathers, the turtle, the weaving. I SO LOVE MY TAT!!!\r

Yes, I would do it again, and am already considering another one. The one thing I would recommend to first-timers is think long and hard about what you want and the placement. I thought about my first one for three years, but as I can proudly say, I am very proud of it and don't regret it a bit. My next one I would like on the back of my neck, but I am going to give the design thought a year - I have various ideas.
Pros: Open area, clean, airy, lots of design selections, good sterilization procedures, friendly staff
Cons: There is parking on the side, but this place is on 6th street, so you want to get there early so you can find a place to park.
