My husband and I just moved to Lake Stevens. I was interested in getting gym membership and have heard good things about Curves. When I called today and spoke with Casey to just get info on pricing the phone call was so painful that I'm sure that this gym is not the right place for me. I realize that each individual Curves location is a franchise and is being handled as a small business by their owners. It's important for them to get info on who's calling, how they heard about Curves, what their fitness goals are, etc. However, the phone call felt like Casey was reading a script and interacting with me like a robot. Sometimes you have to ditch the script and identify that it doesn?t fit the mold for all prospective clients. The call ended up being really long and in the end I was refused information about pricing. I was discouraged from pursuing a membership because I wasn't interested incoming in for a tour, fitness evaluation, etc. Some people may like this approach, but it wasn?t right for me.
