A HUGE thanks to Dr. B! My son saw Dr. Baxstrom several years ago after a practitioner at the Children's Unit at Good Sam. Hosp. in Puyallup recommended Dr. Baxstrom for his cutting edge knowledge & techniques. Though an MD had declared my son's lazy eye was no longer an issue, Dr. B found it was still a demonstrable problem, causing double vision & eye-tracking problems - which did a lot to explain much of my son's reading & learning difficulties. Dr. B gave us exercises & home techniques that addressed his eye problems & some others that stimulated learning. The tools and exercises were simple and either free or of negligible expense. Some techniques might sound a bit out-there, but are based on research. Bottom line: everything he recommended helped a lot, the results were measurable at school, & it gave my son encouragement. MDs and a neuropsychologist had diagnosed problems, but we got more actual, practical help from Dr. Baxstrom, both vision and learning-related, than we'd ever found anywhere. I can't recommend Dr. B highly enough.
