Curry Honda

Let me start by saying that this is the FIRST time I've actually had a good experience at a car dealership. This experience started with a phone call from Toni. She was personable, to the point and just incredibly pleasant to talk to. She said she would email me the quotes (By the way, I added on quote requests after the first one) and not only did she quickly respond, she did it graciously. Toni also put my mind at ease by confirming that there would be NO SURPRISES. Of course I thought there still might be, but to MY surprise, she kept her promise and there weren't! We drove 30 miles to THIS Honda dealership because of my conversation and email correspondence with Toni.\r When we arrived she greeted us warmly and explained that she would set us up with Bill. Bill was great! I could tell that his focus was strictly Customer Service! He ran all around that dealership getting our deal done. He was extremely professional and focused. We took 2 test drives (one at the beginning and the other was actually a test drive of the Odyssey we eventually purchased). He never rushed us on anything and was more than happy to help us through this process which could be daunting especially when you have your small children with you. Our next (and last) stop was with Basil. This was another great experience. Basil was a consummate professional. (As a matter of fact, all three were consummate professionals). He printed up all my options for me with a smile and went through each one clearly and patiently. Again, no surprises! We got the financing we expected to get when we walked in the door. In the end, I was happy to have driven the 30 miles to this particular dealership and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know that is in the market for a Honda. Steve M. mentioned details about our 2007 transaction with him, I was very impressed by this considering how many people have been through your showroom in the past 6 years. He was extremely accommodating and understanding with us as we sat at his desk taking forever to make every decision. He made the transaction very smooth and as pleasant an experience that a $30,000 transaction could be. I will definitely recommend to anyone that is in the market for a Honda and I plan on returning to him with my future automobile needs. more

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Christos Karahalios & Steve Patrikios at Curry Honda in Yorktown. After having recently been involved in a very serious accident which resulted in my previous vehicle being totaled by a city plow truck, there was some urgency for me in getting into a new vehicle quickly. Added to that stress was the fact that my Wife's lease happened to be up at the same time, meaning we needed TWO vehicles at the same time. After being referred to Curry by a number of satisfied friends, I spoke to Steve Patrikios who worked out some numbers for me and made me feel more than comfortable coming in to see him and talk more. Upon my arrival, Steve introduced me to Christos Karahalios, the salesman that I'd be dealing with. Steve continued to make his presence known and oversee the process, but Christos did a fantastic job of not only providing ALL of the information I could possibly need and truly making the experience exciting and rewarding instead of stressful as it could be. Whether it was providing alternative numbers and prices before I could even ask for them, asking about our lives and using that information to find exactly what type of vehicle/package/configuration we could need, or walking us through the features of our new vehicles step by step upon delivery and taking even more time out of his day than is customary to prepare us (which took away from his chances of getting back inside and getting another sale that day), Christos was an A+++ salesman to work with in an industry that is notorious for having less-than-savory characters in it. I know, I know - people always say ""don't go to the dealer for service, it's a rip off."" I thought that to be true when I had a Subaru. Every time we took it in, something was wrong and it was a $500 - $1000 fix. We bought our Pilot in 2009 and have not had any issues. Every time I go in for a service appointment, I am greeted warmly, and taken care of promptly and courteously. I can choose to wait in their lounge - with TV, coffee, etc. Or, someone will drive you back home, a service which I usually take advantage of since I only live a couple of miles away. I really cannot say enough about the staff here - they are knowledgeable and friendly and I never, EVER feel like they are ripping me off. Because of Honda service, my next car will definitely be another Honda! more
