Fun atomsphere, but food was way too salty. more

The food here is just not very good. There menu options are generic, there are very few vegetarian options (even most of the salads and pastas all have meat!), and the food is just plain mediocre. Plus, they charge what a good restaurant would charge, so you are way overpaying. Not recommended. more

The new owners of Cucina Cucina have ruined the restaurant. After years of excellent food and service from Cucina Cucina, it looks as if my wife and I and had our last $75 dinner there. Based on the food and service we have been experiencing the last few visits, I predict the restaurants will be shutting down soon. (No wonder the best Cucina Cucina on Lake Union is gone.) Lets take last night's experience at 6:15 at the Issaquah Cucina Cucina ITALIAN Cafe, ooops I mean the Issaquah Cucina Cucina Cafe. Arrive at 6:15 and have to wait until 6:45 to be seated only to find when getting inside the restaurant that it is half empty! Then, the appetizer and drinks arrive fairly fast but that seems to be a way to pacify the long wait for the entrees. The new owners of this restaurant chain have destroyed a good thing. Thanks for the good times, we always had enjoyed the food, good service and the Italian talking in the bathrooms. more

Cucina! Cucina! and I have a strange relationship. It's kind of like the person I don't really like, but it good friends with all my friends. My family and friends always drag me there, but I honestly can't get behind the Ceasar salad (which has non-creamy dressing and is only hearts of romaine) or th pizza, which I don't find to be very crispy or tasty. Even the tiramisu had too much chocolate. more

What we like about this place is that while the food is hit and miss, the service and ambiance is always fantastic. Our favorite meal is the pizzas, they are priced right about fifteen dollars for a large pizza. The desserts are so-so, and the entrees are a little pricy for what you get. Also be on the look out for discounted movie passes when you spend ten or more dollars. more
