Decor here is pretty awesome. The glass walk way with the lit up koi pond underneath is something to see. The food is over-rated. The braised sh...

Great Bar, Good Food, Expensive !!! 2/7/2010

Good: They have a beautiful bar with koi fish river that you walk over. The food is good but not quite up to the price they charge. My advise, visit the bar for a drink and have dinner elsewhere; unless your on a corporate expense account or just really want to impress someone with the atmospere and high prices.. Bad: the price. Improvements: had to wait a while for my reservation. Other: lot of pretty fish to look at. more

Good food but... 10/27/2009

They say that good things wait. But the more than half hour you spend waiting for your food is ridiculous. We were waiting for our food longer than we ate it. In fairness to them, though, they serve really good food. I had chicken which was really really good. But still, the waiting time is a big turn off. more

NEVER AGAIN 9/10/2006

Although they serve very tasty food, the managers and staff clearly DO NOT CARE about your experience unless you are some sort of celebrity or wealthy. There was literally a 30-40 minute time lapse between appetizer and entrée. At one point the waiter whisked by, without making eye contact, saying that our food was coming right out...we still waited another 10-15 min. We expressed our concern to the Manager, he clearly CARED LESS. He too avoided eye contact, he had NO interest in what we had to say and provided us with an inappropriate excuse which was unacceptable. As an insult, he offered us a free dessert for a $230 dollar check ( I was tempted to tell him where he could put his dessert!). SHAMELESS. Don't recommend it. Don't waste your money. Go somewhere else. Those garlic noodles are not worth it. more

It tastes good but it is high!!! 1/18/2006

THis is buggie restaurant in the world of the rich. There is nothing on the menu less than 40 dollars and the water is 5 bucks. And all the black people sit up stairs unless you are Jamie Foxx or something. The bottom level is the nicest it has fish tanks in the floor and that is were the elite posh folks sit. So if you are a nobody do not even ask to sit downstairs. Go with the slaves on the top level and watch the clean waiters cater to the rich while the peasent folks who are out on a date trying to show that special person they are worth something you must sit up stairs with the po folk. The menu is cool all the food I have had tasted pretty good. But do not look to get full it is all appertizer food. But you can go to see the rich hang out. more

Slightly Overrated 8/19/2005

At Crustacean Restaurant you will find a beautiful atmosphere but prepared for a forty five minute up to an hour wait even with reservations, The dining are is to cramped and I felt like I was dining with the couple seated next to me. The tables are small and designed for two people three at the most. I also find that the restraint is noisy and the wait staff was a little dry and not very helpful. The food is ok nothing to brag about and considering the price not really worth it. I would recommend crustaceans to anyone that wants to take there significant other out for a nice dinner and wants to try something new. I also suggest you leave the kids at home since the menu or restaurant isn’t kid friendly. more

First class service and food! 7/11/2005

Crustacean is very elegant. Diners are well-dressed. Food is first class. Food is high priced, but well worth it! We go there at least twice a year for special occasions -- without the kids! They waiters are very professional and are happy to make menu suggestions. Valet parking right out front of the restaurant. more
