Bad service 1/10/2012

As a long time patron of the store, I bought 2 birds, multi fish and supplies there, \r but the last time I was there, the sales girl would not sell me the fish I wanted.\r Said my 20 gal was not large enough or tall enough for an angel fish. Tried to sale me a 50 gal.\r So I ended up with 5 Harliquin fish and 2 zebra's, tried to get 4 zebra's I was told "NO" tank was not large enough, and I was pushing the limit as is.\r I don't know about anyone else, but I will be going somewhere else for my fish.\r She's dark haired and skinny, watch out for her.\r Thank you Critter Cabana but you just lost a long time customer and I will tell my friends. more

This is "The Best Pet Store" ever! And since the new one opened in Wilsonville, it's business makes it all the better offering more for for customers and visitors like my three children and I. We have lived in Wilsonville for over 10 years and purchased pet supplies and food regularly at Critter Cabana. They give outstanding hospitality and friendliness towards the customers and their pets. The prices are reasonable and are competitive. I'm a firm believer in supporting our small local businesses. more

best pet store ever! 6/27/2010

I love critter cabana! My hair stylist introduced it to me when I was looking for a hedgehog! They the healthiest selection of hedgehogs I was so excited to pick from their wide vairety! My hedgehog has remained healthy and happy and is the cutest thing I've ever seen! more

Great Pet Store in Newberg 2/18/2010

This pet store in Newberg is amazing! My kids beg to walk there over going to the zoo. The staff is helpful and welcoming and the animals are accessible to the children. Some of them are even wandering around. We enjoy supporting this business by buying our pet food there as it is high quality and we feel a very fair exchange for the pleasure of them being there. The coolest pet store I have ever seen, BY FAR! more

It is the most awesome pet store I have ever been in. There is not another one like it. They have the largest selection of great top quality products, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have extremely healthy fish, reptiles, small animals, birds and EXOTICS!! Definitely a store that everyone should experience. more

Hidden Gem 11/4/2007

Newberg, OR might be a "small town", but it supports a pet store that always has something new & interesting to look at and buy. If you're so inclined to just look & not buy, that's OK, too. The staff is knowledgeable & friendly no matter what your interests are. more

Whether it's a fish tank that makes you turn the lights in the house out early, or a sugar glider that becomes your loyal companion; we know that pets are more than a daily chore or an impulse purchase. Pets have inspired us in so many ways and are an integral part of our lives.


    We love animals and want our customers to share that love.. Our dog and cat department is often overlooked but holds many gems that are bound to bring value to the lives of those who find them.


    The bird department at Critter Cabana has a lot to offer any current or future bird owner.


    If it's fluffy,cute,and charming you'll find it in our small animal department! From tame Panda Bear hamsters to playful baby ferrets to cuddly hand-raised bunnies,Critter Cabana is committed to bringing you only the best in furry companions.


    Our reptile department boasts one of the most attractive and exotic selections in the northwest. Among our great selection of live reptiles,amphibians,and invertebrates,we have terrarium plants,river tanks,bogwood,and lots of other vivarium supplies.


    Our fish department is ever expanding and currently under a lot of development. Already you will find a great selection of both marine and freshwater fish and invertebrate life.


    The exotic animal department at Critter Cabana is very exciting! We have a variety of exotics ranging from sugar gliders to armadillos! Our stock varies greatly based on availability but you can usually count on at least a few hedgehogs and sugar gliders.


    Critter Cabana is changing the way that people care for their animals by providing educational services. We have found this is much easier to do with people who are still actively learning and we have a lot of hope for the next generation of pet owners.
