Craftbuilt is the BEST!! 11/13/2010

Craftbuilt Inc. recently built the garage that we have been dreaming of adding to our house for 30 years! It has greatly exceeded our expectations!! Dave Smith is our contractor of choice for any future changes to our home--he is easy to work with, oversees every step of the project, is extremely knowledgeable and always finds ways to protect our best interests. The crews that work for him are the nicest guys who do impeccable work with quality materials. D'Ann is a valuable asset to the team--she has outstanding design ideas that we would have never thought of! She visited us at our house a few times to help us get the layout and design that we wanted. We have had compliments on our house's new look from many people on our street. Both Dave and D'Ann are great to work with--we have recommended this team to friends who have also been extremely happy with their results!! We are so happy with our new garage that we are now continuing our relationship with Craftbuilt by adding on a sunroom/family room! more

FANTASTIC BUILDER- Would highly recommend! 6/6/2007

We initially used Dave Smith, Craftbuilt, to remodel our kitchen over 6 years ago. He did such a wonderful job and his estimate was right on. We decided if we ever built a house he would be the builder. \r The time came and we contracted Dave to build. Never before have we met anyone who went above and beyond to do right by us. We spent weeks on coming together to determine what the best floorplan was for our growing families wants and needs. Dave worked diligently on making certain changes that would make big dollar amount differences in our favor, as well as allowing us to work on certain things in the house as long as it didn?t impact his timelines. When everyone else seemed to be out to totally squeeze every dollar out of their customers, he worked to find ways to cut costs while still maintaining high quality product. There were a couple times that he worked with my husband Chris, until one o?clock in the morning, on the installation of our kitchen cabinets. I do not know any other builder or person for that matter that would have went out of their way as much as you did to help and get things done. Of course there were time line delays due to weather and various things that were out of your control, however, it was how he treated the situation and followed through that made certain pain points in the process more manageable. \r In the course of the two years we lived in the house, we had him come back for one nail pop- IN TWO YEARS- that was it. Unfortunaltey, the house we built as our forever house, had to be sold due to relocation for my job. The people who purchased our home of course wanted a home inspection. After their home inspector completed his six hour inspection, he reported back, he had never encountered in the 20 years he had been doing inspections, what he did in our home. There was not one thing he found in the inspection that needed to be addressed. It was a perfect inspection! He commented on what a well built, quality home it was. WOW!\r \r Pros: GREAT JOB more

temporary garbage housing 10/31/2005

Extremely poor quality house, poor skills, uses cheap unskilled labor, slow, enept. builds a house that does not last nor hold its value. not honest in products not up to date on styles. house is lacking proper building so heating and cooling costs are extremely high, many, many problems and repairs needed and corrections. keep your money and hire a professional. you will get a smaller house, but a house that is built correctly and will not suck you dry. also it will have higher resale value. do your homework!!! hire your own private inspector!! Pros: sloppy, inaccurate, extremelypoor quality Cons: switched products, inept help, evasive more
