Little Acorn Academy is formerly Cradles to Kids. The new owners took over September 2011 and have been very wonderful at ""picking up the ball and running with it."" While CTK had a wonderful staff, there was little owner investment in the property and facility. Ms. Ham has made positive changes to the menu, serving healthy, well-balanced meals that are made in house by a culinary-trained staff member. She is currently replacing the young children's playscape with safer equipment that is more enticing and fun for the kids. The rooms are slowly changing to include more toys and activities for the kids to interact with. The facility vans have been replaced with new ones that are in perfect condition. The staff that have stayed on as well as the new staff are well-trained in Early Childhood Education, and I feel confident that my daughter's teachers take wonderful care of her all day while I am at work. The daily curriculum is well-rounded and includes lots of sensory experiences and outdoor time. This company has been very responsive to my initial concerns as the business ownership transitioned, and they have really stepped up to partner with my family in helping raise a happy toddler that is meeting her developmental milestones.
