Best Comfort Food Around 7/18/2008

We have eaten at Cracker Barrel for over 10 years and it is our favorite. If we go out of town we eat at Cracker Barrel because we know what to expect. Our kids absolutely love the Dumplings, okra, green beans, and biscuits. My favorite is the beans and greens with cornbread. We also like the Chicken and Rice on Saturday nights. We have had everything from breakfast, vegetables, salads, burgers and of course dessert. The only bad thing is the wait sometimes but it is worth it. more

I first tried The Cracker Barrel's breakfast back in August of 2002 in Richmond, Va. While visiting my sister. I'd never been because I'd listen to what other folks had bad to say about The Cracker Barrel. I hate that I'd listened to those narrow minded folks. Because for years I've never been big on eating breakfast. It's sad to say but I really have been missing out! Pros: Very inexpensive, wide selections, large quanities Cons: crowded, seating, table space more

This restaurant has a little of everything. You can always find something you like. Great service. Pros: hot food, great atmosphere, neat store Cons: long waits, need more locations more

Breakfast foods are fresh and tasty. Most of the time it's worth the wait, even though I hate to wait! Pros: good selection, family atmosphere Cons: Very noisey, crowded, a little pricey more
