HORRIBLE 1/3/2008

Name should be Crappy Bills. Food was horrible!!! Crab Claws were slimy! They were bad. The pasta was over cooked and the restaurant was dirty and smelled like stale beer. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: non Cons: everythin more

Terrible Food 2/1/2004

the food here is terrible. we had the oysters which tasted foul. they advertised they had stone crab claws, which is the reason we went in, and then they said they didnt have any. i paid $17 for 14 pieces of tiny shrimp (the mixed shrimp dish). the total bill was $50 and we left very hungry. the quality of the food was very poor- thats probably why other people say prices are reasonable. i'd rather pay more for better quality food. Besides the annoying picture guy this place is great. Try for the corner booth upstairs and you can watch the sunset over the ocean. Cons: picture pest more

Just bad food 5/20/2002

The seafood is just plain bad. Even for the price. You can get better seafood at a midwest seafood chain restaurant. It is dirty and they have an employee who tries to take your picture at your table and then sell it to you on a keychain. You can't eat your meal in piece without them trying to upsell a crappy keychain. Bad, bad, bad. Go for a drink, go somewhere else to eat.   • The Food, Part I
    When our order finally came, we were really ready to eat. My dining partner's trout was delish, perfectly cooked, fresh as the sea breeze. Mine was inedible—you could have used it for chum. I sent it back and the owner took it off the bill. But I was still famished, so I nibbled on a sorry coleslaw and a virtually meatless cup of clam chowder. Ever hopeful, we tried dessert, thinking the pie might break the curse. It didn't.

    The Food, Part II
    Perhaps the kitchen had had a bad day? We decided to make another visit to the more formal upstairs dining room, which has a beautiful view of the gulf and the beach, and recently changed its menu to Cajun-style. This time, the service was sterling, friendly and considerate, but the food was again mediocre: The tomato bisque too salty; crab cakes made with too much bread filling and hardly any crab, the pie again sporting a soggy commercial crust.

    The Verdict
    Don't waste your money at Krazy Bill's. You could do better elsewhere.
