Worst customer service person I have ever met Trenton Steen !! Trenton told me I made a bad decision using this company because if they have so many bad reviews I should have known better. He also told me that if he said the sky was purple but the documents he had me sign said that they were blue, then it didn't matter what he said to me only the documents matter, so essentially he can say whatever he wants whether or not its in the contract. They also ask for a massive amount of information that is not required by their competitors. I recommend using ANY WHERE BUT HERE! more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 5/14/2011

I had to call these people several times. Each time I got a different person who had no idea what I was calling about. The last person I spoke with was extremely rude, claimed after he got the information on the person I was bonding out he would call me back. 24 hours later I'm still waiting on the call. Since then DIAMOND J BAIL BONDS worked with me and got my daughter released. DON NOT USE COWBOY.........DIAMOND J IS GREAT!!! more

Save yourself a lot of stress - DO NOT use Cowboys! 2/14/2011

THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH!! My dad went to jail for some tickets he didn't take care of when he was out of work. He just got a job and he HAD to be at work the next day or they would fire him. We explained the situation before going to their office, and they promised they could take care of it. They kept us waiting for over an hour, then promised and swore and assured us they would have my dad out that night. We paid them $300 and 5 hours later they still hadn't sent the lawyer or posted the bond. We called their office over and over all night to ask what the hold up was & they were the rudest and most disorganized people I've ever dealt with. They kept us on hold for almost 45 minutes and kept asking what we were calling for. I guess they were hoping we'd hang up and just forget about it. When Marco finally took our call, he said there was an e-mail glitch (translation: we didn't do our jobs.) After all of that, my dad still wasn't released because his tickets weren't ... If you're a professional and you do this for a living, why wouldn't you tell someone that before taking hundreds of dollars from them?!?! What a load of crap!!!!! Now we have to wait for a refund from the corporate office which could take up to a week - meanwhile, my dad is going to lose his job because these idiots will promise you everything and deliver nothing! DO NOT USE COWBOY BAIL BONDS! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! more

One Word: Incompetent, every step of the way. 10/7/2010

My experience with Cowboy Bail Bondsman was about as bad as it gets. From the convoluted sign-up, to the uniformed employees, to the apathetic management. \r There is no service with Cowboy. \r They took my money for two bonds, then proceeded to drop them without notice and then continued to call me for my court dates, even though I hadn’t been bonded there for two months. Stay away from Cowboy Bail Bondsman, unless you like having to buy bonds elsewhere after you find out that they have dropped your bond. The only way to know if Cowboy has dropped your bond is by asking your lawyer or when you find out you have a warrant. They can’t even tell by looking at their own system. \r Do yourself a big favor and keep looking for a real bondsman that can actually help you. \r more

Great service!!!!!! 7/6/2010

After 3/12 weeks and being treated like the scum of the Earth by the justice system, it was nice walking in to Dallas Cowboys and greated with a smile and a hand shack. They worked out an easy payment plan for me. They Used my Motorcycle to hold the bond. When my court was done after six months. I got it back with no problem and just like I left it. I am one very please customer, and if one of my buddies ever gets in trouble. (Wont Be Me!) They will be the first place I will call. \r \r Regards\r EFR Pros: They lived up to every thing they said they would do for me. more

Thanks for your help 5/15/2009

Robert at Cowboy Bail Bonds has been very supportive offering important advice and philosophy throughout the bonding process. He is a great person and a great asset. Not only is he knowledgeable but he cares about people and I appreciate his caring and kindness. It is truly helpful to have someone that you know honestly cares about you and your situation. During the past two years I voluntarily went to a clinic counselor. April the 10th was my two year anniversary of being clean of pain medications. Last fall the court system dismissed my charges and gave me a chance to start over and make good on my promise, if given the opportunity, I would turn things around. I am taking care of my mother in Arizona, as after my father's death and then my brother's death, she really went down hill with memory issues, etc. I continue to do volunteer work and work on my website business. My counselor considers my two years of being clean from beginning to the end of the program a rare instance. I just want to thank Robert and Cowboy Bail Bonds for the help and support they have given me. I appreciate you! Pros: Great people more

Excellent Service 11/14/2008

First of all I thought this sight was to review the service received by consumers not to make slanderous remarks about individual people. I have read some reviews that are good about this company and others not so good but everybody is entitled to their own opinion depending on the service they received however, I read one review from ""madindallas"" speaking about the owner of the company, Buckley Chappell and I have got to tell you that the way you described him does not sound like the Buckley Chappell I know. I use to work for Cowboy bail Bonds and before I worked for them I worked for several bond companies before and let me say that the way he handles his business outranks every other bond company I know. He is very diligent when it comes to customer service and he will bend over backwards to help you out. I have known him for over 10 years, I know that the person you described is not the Buckley Chappell I know. I am sorry that you got in your words ""some really crummy service by Cowboy Bail Bonds"" but I am sure that if you dealt with Mr. Chappell he tried every way possible to work it out to your benefit. Again, like I said earlier I do not believe you should use these review sites to attack an individual but should use them regarding the service provided you, but in your review you went on and on about how terrible and awful Mr. Chappell was,as you gave your opinion, I will give mine I believe that whatever your issue is you have a personal issue with Mr. Chappell himself and it is not fair you tarnish somebody's rep or business like you have tried to do in your review. I knew Mr. Chappell before he opened his first bond office and the morals and ethics he has always shown have never been compromised especially when it comes to his business. He has always been a straight shooter and plays the game fairly. I would urge you to re-examine your review because it could be considered defamation of character with the way you have tried to slander his name.. more
