They are great. I've been a customer for years and love them

Worst

Terrible bedside manner from Dr. Kim Witalis. She didn't even introduce herself. Had to look at recent to find out her name. thankfully she only works PT (per web site). Not very ...

Very highly recommend 5/19/2019

Dr. Melinda and Dr Bill are fantastic. I'm not overly delighted by a couple of the vets there, but there is another woman called Dr. Mancini that is lovely, caring, and frank, like Dr .s Bill and Melinda. I will ask for any of them. Both Obert and Kettring helped me with aged, beloved pets in terminal situations and they were so compassionate. more

I will not be returning to covedale I have been going there for 4 years and I have 18 animals they see 12 of them. I called to get a estimate on neutering my rabbit and they told me that I have to pre pay bc I have missed a couple of appointments. The appointments I missed I never received a reminder call nor was it something as major as surgery. The past few times communication has been crap. The only two I trust there is dr kim and jenniffer. Dr.Kim has treated all of my pets any other vet they have seen there I was unhappy with. One even tried to convince me to declaw my cat which I am 100% against. Dont go to covedale you nor your pets are missing out on anything Also they are all about money anything they do is 30+ and the money adds on quick more

They care more about $$$ than animals 9/2/2014

I called to ask about flea medication for my rabbits. The advice I got was to bring them all in for a physical before they could even tell me a treatment and then they could "order it for me". What? I've never had to bring in my cats or dogs in for a physical before getting flea treatments (Although, I'll admit I take my dogs and cats to a different vet, and I LOVE him and would take my rabbits to him too if he worked with small animals and exotics) So my question is why do they need me to bring in my rabbits for a physical? I'm pretty sure they are not concerned about whether or not I know what a flea looks like. I feel they only want the money for the office visit and the physical. Also...Why do they need to "order" flea meds? Wouldn't you have them on hand if you work on small animals? I've taken my rabbits there in the past to get them fixed. Without fail, I would be stuck waiting at least an hour (my longest wait was an hour and a half) before I even saw the vet. I waited an hour once just to PICK UP my animal (no vet after-care chat even required). The price for the same procedure also constantly fluctuated. I'm sure other people have had fine experiences with this vet clinic, but I would not recommend this vet to anyone. As it turns out, I called another vet that works with small and exotics. They have the flea medication on hand and gave me the name of one I could use that I could buy at the pet store. No physical was required to gain this information. Sorry, Covedale. You just lost my business to them. more

Above and Beyond 8/18/2005

In November of 2004, my family was victim of a house fire, thankfully no person was home. But one member of our family was at home – a black miniature schnauzer – our dog Maxie. The hard working men and women of the CFD somehow, in a house full of thick black smoke, were able to locate Maxie lying unconscious and not breathing at the foot of the stairs. They brought her out of the house and were able to resuscitate her. We took Maxie to the Covedale Animal Hospital, and when our lives were out-of-whack, living with in-laws with only the clothes on our backs – the staff at Covedale went above and beyond, treating her with the best care and even offering to board her at no cost until we were able to get situated in temporary housing. more
