Glo-bowl is sooo fun! Anybody who is anybody should check it out. It starts pretty late (11:00 pm, I believe), but it is absolutely the most fun I have ever had bowling. Glo-bo...

One of the Better Bowling Alleys 4/12/2006

This is the best bowling alley I have ever been to. Their techno lights create an awesome atmosphere and makes bowling much funner. The prices we paid were a bit too much--I believe it was $4.00 a game so we only played two games that night. This place is MUCH better than the dirty place in downtown Sacramento. more

Huge Place, A lot Going On 3/7/2006

If you like to bowl this is a place to bowl. It is not an the main drag, but you can get there from two Interstates, 50 and Capitol City Freeway. Just take Watt Avenue and you are there. I went to this place when I was a teenager and after college. I always had fun, but felt the staff could be friendlier. The shoes were in good condition and I felt the area was very clean. Yes, I recommend that you check this place out. There are lots of Arcade games, a huge area, that your kids and play at while you bowl. more

Great bowling 8/19/2005

If you have ever gone bowling, then you know it's loads of fun. Country Club Lanes bowling has an excellent staff, a fair environment and some great bowling. It's a little worn-out in the place, but has a lot of lanes and special Friday night glow-bowling (sometimes). I would reccomend going here once to see for yourself and see if you can get that bowling score up over 100! Have fun! more

Bowling for Everyone 8/19/2005

Country Club Lane is a safe and fun place for everyone, especially teens. For a price of about $10 you could bowl until it closes. During the late hours, there are such events as black “neon-light” bowling, where they turn off all lights and light up the bowling alley with neon light. To get people into the mood of having a good time, they also have a DJ playing the latest music. Not only are there areas for bowling, but there’s also an area to play video games. However, the additional $5 fee to just enter put a damper on the fun. Overall, it’s a fun place to hang out only when you go in big groups with your friends. more

ugh 8/19/2005

This place is not good. I've heard a lot of bad things about it, and I haven't been back in years myself. I used to go here because they had a great little club in the back, but that's over now. What I do remember of the main bowling alley is way too loud music, bright lights, and all kinds of confusion. At night, they charge you admission just to walk in the door! Then, it's per hour, not per game, so the charges rack up fast. There's an arcade, and even a bar. more

Dry Cleaner and Laundry 8/13/2005

Country Club Cleaners has been at the same location for at least 20 years. It is located between El Camino Avenue and Kings Way near the Country Club Lanes bowling alley. I have taken clothes here many times and have always been happy with how they turned out. If you need shirts laundered they do that as well. I have also had pants shortened here and have been very pleased with the quality and prices. Plenty of free parking. more

Bowling Goes High Tech 8/8/2005

Country Club Lanes is probably best known around Sacramento as THE place to go for Glow Bowling. Glow Bowling has been a huge craze around here lately, and the atmosphere is more club-like than old boring bowling alley. The effects are fun and the place is always packed. The prices are a bit steep compared to other bowling venues around, but the experience is definitely more unique and worth the extra few bucks. There is an adjoining lounge for drinks, and the kids can have fun in the large arcade area. more

Gooooo gloooooo-boooowwlll!!! 8/4/2005

Glo-bowl is sooo fun! Anybody who is anybody should check it out. It starts pretty late (11:00 pm, I believe), but it is absolutely the most fun I have ever had bowling. Glo-bowl has sort of a night-club tight of atmosphere. It costs about $15 for unlimited rounds bowling, but this is definitely worth it. Go check it out! more

Bowling 7/16/2005

This is a fairly large bowling alley and they have league and individual play. There are also pool tables and video games. There's a nice bar as well as a snack bar. If you sign up for a league, be sure to try the moonlight bowling! You don't need your own ball or shoes...they have plenty of bowling balls to choose from. more
