A little buttery 2/17/2009

My girl and I had the ribeye and a plate of shrimp and crab legs. The shrimp was really fresh but the crab legs were no home run (a little soft). The ribeye is caters toward a blander pallaye and offers nothing adventurous. The veggies are soaked in butter and the condiment abounds with each dish; but the staff is fun and the atmosphere is laidback and friendly. Would I come back? If I were strictly looking for shrimp? Yes. Fried been tomatoes? Yes. Otherwise,just safe fare on vacation. Nothing to write directly home about. more

I ate at the Cotton Exchange for dinner while in town on a Febuary Friday. It was busy but we were seated right away. The service was very good. I got the fried shrimp and flounder with a baked potato. It was around $16 which is not bad for a seafood and steak restaurant on river street. The food came out pretty quickly, and everything tasted great. Pros: Fast, good service Cons: ambience more
