I have been a patient here for 8 years. I injured my back while sledding with the kids in 2005. The Orthopedic doctor I visited recommended surgery to correct the pain i was experiencing in my lower back and down my right leg. While waiting for my surgery date, I went to see Dr. Costanzo. With 2 weeks of treatment, my pain and discomfort was reduced significantly. By the end of my treatment i had no pain while walking, sitting or bicycling. The treatment I received from him has allowed me to return an active lifestyle of keeping up with my 4 children. It has also kept me from having surgery. His greatest asset is how he listens to his patients and delivers the best care possible. I have referred him to family members and would recommend him to anyone seeking good chiropractic care. more

I have been seeing Dr. George for over 20 years. I have scoliosis and have had on again off again bouts with pain; thanks to regular visits with Dr. George. I have always told him he has great hands, which he does! About 6 months ago, my scoliosis had progressed to a new and painful level. Dr. George was in the process at that time, of becoming associated with SpineCor. Working with a doctor from Atlanta, they fitted me with a relatively new back brace called SpineCor. It is quite a contraption. Dr. George is now ""the man"" to go to for SpineCor. I can not say how much this brace has helped me! It is amazing! I never realized how crooked I was, until getting into this brace. The best way to describe it is: I used to walk like a caveman, now I walk errect. I have had so many people comment about how much better I get around now. I can't thank Dr. George enough for this and all he has done for me! He is fantastic! more

Prior to Dr. CostanzoI I was experiencing continual discomfort in my neck and shoulders, I had tried three other chiropractors in the area, each one for a period of about 5 months, but I did not experience relief from the discomfort. And although I have no training in the field of chiropractic's, I always got the impression that my condition was not being studied carefully and therefore not treated properly. This is where I believe Dr. Costanzo demonstrated a real difference, he didn't just take a standard approach but took the time to study my condition and prescribed treatment that was very effective, he also explained to me the mechanics involved in correcting the problem and what he hoped to achieve. As an engineer I could appreciate that knowledge. After 12 weeks of treatment, the x-rays spoke for themselves, I could see very obvious and visible physical changes in the structure of my neck, which were right in line with what he was trying to achieve. I came to Costanzo Chiropractic this past summer with neck and lower back problems caused from numerous vehicle and motorcycle accidents. George evaluated me and put me on a 3 month traction and adjustment program. Since I started I instantly started feeling better and now, almost 4 months later I don't have anymore neck or back pain. ""THANK YOU!"" are inadequate words for what Dr Costanzo has done for me. Several months ago, I had a brain biopsy. The biopsy indicated that I did not have cancer, but surgery and radiation were ruled out as possible treatments for what I did have. Several drugs were prescribed but I eventually and unilaterally decided to stop taking them. So when I visited Dr Costanzo, I was suffering from debilitating headaches. I was sleeping perhaps 4 hours a night. My quality of life was at the lowest point it has ever been.Within 2 weeks of treatment, Dr Costanzo reduced my headaches by 80%. Within 2 months, my headaches were reduced by 95% and I started to feel that I might again have a normal life. And I also need to say ""THANK YOU!"" to Dr Costanzo's office staff: Ann and Crissy. It isn't easy going 3 times a week for treatment and the treatments are not easy. But Ann and Crissy were not only always so professional but they laughed at my dumb jokes and they made me feel like I was their only patient. THANK YOU! more

I was very skeptic of Chiropractics. Dr. Costanzo compeletly changed my mind. He has helped me dramatically over the past few years and I highly recommend him. I started with Dr. George the end of May with neck pain. After 6-7 weeks of treatment the pain is less noticeable and most of the time I don't have any. I have many allergies and sinus and have a post nasal drip all the time. I've noticed an improvement in the amount of drip. Pros: A very friendly office and convenient hours. more

Dr. Costanzo was very honest and open with my condition from day one. I knew just where I stood for a recovery process and the chances of sucess and failure right in the beginning. I'm happy to say I am pain free, taking no pain killers and am continuing to see him on a monthly basis to keep myself that way. He takes the time to listen and explain what your options are. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The facility is clean and comfortable. It is easy to get to and the parking is right in front of his door which is a plus when you are in pain. There is nothing negative to say. He is a great Doctor. When I moved to Connecticut, I lost the services of a really great Florida chiropractor. Finding a local replacement was tough. After going from one chiropractor to another and getting ineffective treatment, I found George Costanzo through the recommendation of a friend. For the past 17 years I have traveled regularly from Kent, CT to Southington, CT, a one hour drive, to visit Dr. George Costanzo for chiropractic adjustments. Why do I travel so far? I do so because Dr. Costanzo is far and above the best chiropractor that I have ever had the good fortune to meet. He is personable, knowledgeable, extremely competent, thorough and accurate in diagnosing and gives excellent and lasting adjustments. Dr. Costanzo puts his patients at ease and does not hurry but gives undivided attention to the patient he is attending. I first saw Dr. Costanzo because I was suffering from terrible headaches after injuring my neck. After meeting with Dr. Costanzo for a free consultation, he diagnosed the problem and came up with a treatment plan. After only a few treatments, my headaches were almost gone. It's been a couple years, but I still see Dr. Costanzo regularly. I have a physically demanding job, and Dr. Costanzo keeps my back and neck in great shape. To me, ""Dr. George"" is more than a chiropractor, he has become a friend. He always takes the time to chat and find out how I'm doing. I fell today on ice and was in excruciating pain. I contacted Costanzo Chiropractic and they got me right in for an appointment. I was treated exceptionally by the office and they got me in and out very quickly. I have been a patient of Dr. George for over 10 years now and continue to see him monthly for adjustments to keep chronic lower back issues at bay. The staff are always friendly and helpful and you cannot beat the office hours. I was referred to Dr. George initially by a coworker and although there are plenty of chiropractors closer to where I live I would much rather drive the extra distance. I tried another chiropractor in Southington once and was completely unsatisfied - never again! I have referred friends and family to Dr. George over the years and I will continue to do so. I've been to a few Chiropractors and never got the one on one care that I receive at Costanzo Chiropractic. After just a few visits my neck is already feeling much better. One of the best things so far is noticing that I was able to cut down on my anxiety medication that I take on a daily basis for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
