No other word for it. Call it for what it is.
Look at the other review and look at mine and come to your own conclusion.
My own experience:
We purchased two expensive leather study chairs and a large (and very expensive) china cabinet from them in January 2000.
After delivery was completed and we were putting the shelves in, we realized that the holes for the shelves were misdrilled on one side.
We contacted them and their first response was to offer to drill additional new holes! We told them no, we wanted it replaced.
It took 5 months for a replacement to come through with a lot of tense phone calls. By the end I was threatening legal action (and these were expensive enough that small claims isn't an option).
They brought the replacement and all was done.
Or so I thought: six months later the doors on the bottom expanded and warped to where you can't open or close them.
I was so fed up with them I never called. They are like this still today.
As if this experience years ago weren't bad enough, I was SEVEN YEARS after this disaster telemarketed by Continental Furniture to come to a furniture auction. Unwanted telemarketing calls are bad enough. But one would expect that given the clearly negative experience they would have the common sense to not put me on their calling list. It appears they lack that common sense or respect for the customer.
Overall, I consider these people the sleaziest I've ever dealt with ever.I wouldn't use them if they were the only furniture store on the planet.
Cons: Terrible customer service, poor quality, dishonest
