I assume I spoke to the owner when I called, but in any case he was an effing unprofessional, whiny snob. I asked about consigning an old Coin Sets of All Nations that the Franklin Mint sold in the 80's. In his whiny voice he informed me that ""those AREN'T worth anything. I'll pass."" Umm, I hadn't even told him what I expected to get for them. Could he maybe have found a more tactful way of declining them? Excuse me jerk, but I have been a numismatist for 25 years and I know what coins are worth. I understand that sets like these are not sought after in serious coin collecting, which is why I want to sell it. I collected these as a kid, for heaven's sake! But, in case you haven't noticed, these sets sell every day on online auctions for several hundred dollars. Everything is worth something to someone. In your business you should know that. Please excuse an out of work person for trying to sell some old belongings for Christmas money. I guess I really deserved the rude attitude.
Pros: won't have to deal w/ them again
Cons: Holier than thou attitude
