I used to go here and dream!!! 5/15/2006

Connies, which is south of 9 mile road and east of Greater Mack was a store that I thought was only for rich people. I had a girlfriend who was an only child and her mom bought most of her clothes from there. Connies has been there for a long, long time and it is nice to buy that something extra special for the kids or grandkids. Most of the items are name brand so expect to pay for what you buy...much higher quality! more

On the eastside of Greater Mack and south of 9 Mile Road 4/6/2006

I'll be turning 50 soon and I remember browsing Connies racks when I was a youngster. That's how long they have been around. Connie's only carries the very best, high quality and name brand clothing for children. I remember going there and gazing at the beautiful outfits. The building is small but has had a lot of customers throughout the years. There is parking in the back of the building. Go down the sidestreet to find. more

"Connie's" in St. Clair Shores is one of the best children's clothing boutiques around. It's been around for years! My mother shopped at Connie's for some of my clothes when I was a child. Today, I shop there for the latest in fashion for my children. Some items are a bit pricey, however you can still find bargains here too! They only have two big sales a year, winter and summer. You can find things for 50-75% if you catch the sales right. They carry many of the department store brands as well as boutique brands. They have adorable hair accessories and socks for girls! more

Brand Name Childrens Clothing 8/19/2005

My mom shopped at Connie's when my brother and I were kids, and now I shop there for my girls. They offer brand name, special items although their prices do reflect this. I will purchase brand name and boutique items for my children and they will wear them and because they are such good quality I can resell them when we're done and break even. Connie's also offers nice shoes and they do go on sale quite a bit. This is also a nice place if you need a special baby gift or christening or communion dresses. more

Great place to shop! 7/31/2005

Located on Mack Avenue, Connie's is a nice place to shop for children's clothing. It sells name brands, at name brand prices, I might add, as well as shoes. It also sells communion dresses and boys' suits. Very nice staff. Parking is in front, as well as behind the building, and shared with a few other businesses. Closed on Sundays, it offers layaway also. Warning: pricey but their summer and winter sales are AWESOME!! 50-75% off prices and occur in July and in February! Make sure to sign up for future mailings at the store! more
