Confidence Driving School

My daughter started in July with classroom instruction. Not even half way through the instructor quit and a new instructor was sent. After she was done with classroom work it took three weeks for them to call me snd set up an appointment for a driving test. Meanwhile we saw her classroom instructor driving a limo and when we adked he told us that the school hasn't paid him for 2 months. \r When she finally got her first appointment this older man spent the hour talking to my daughter about how terrible president Obama I'd and that he was destroying our country. He also trashed Planned Parenthood my daughter doesn't even Care\r One occasion he felt asleep (snoring) while she was driving and told her that she was a good driver snd he trusted her. Another occasion he talked about using steroids because he need it them because he was low in testosterone. \r This man end up in a hospital and nobody called to cancel his appointments because nobody had his schedule or the phone numbers of thr kids, my daughter waited at the school for 1 hour. \r Now in October and she is still waiting to complete her driving hours because they don't hsve instructors to take over this man schedule \r more

This school has both positive and negative aspects, like any other. They were very accommodating to my daughter's schedule, both in behind the wheel and in class. When my daughter had to drop the class because of schedule conflicts she was able to resume it months later, free of charge. The behind the wheel was educational, and I could see improvements in her driving. The management and ownership is lax, however; the owners were unreliable. Consider other options, but keep Confidence in mind; they did teach my daughter to become the excellent driver she is today. more

People! most are just being over dramatic. they tell you In class in BOLD letters -LIKE SO- Don't sign up for behind the wheel until your comfortable BEHIND THE WHEEL. You Practice with your parents BEFORE you sign up for lessons. its that simple. No worries Dave is still teaching. I have him. I highly Suggest this class. people, young drivers need to know this stuff eventually! more

do not go here! they told my daughter she's not allowed to use the passenger side mirror. I called and asked them about it and they tried to tell me that its state law to teach kids to not use the mirror. I called 4 other driving schools and they said ""confidence"" is wrong. The way I found out they teach this way is my daughter side swiped my wife's car with mine in our driveway. She knows how to use the mirror now! Avoid this problem with your kids and go somewhere else. more

My child was enrolled into confidence driving school about 4 weeks back. The full payment was made 4 weeks back. At 2 pm on a Friday before the classes were to begin on Saturday (next day at 9 am) confidence called me and told me that the classes were cancelled in the particular location my child was enrolled into & that he should go to a class which is about 12 miles away. When I try to call back to get the money back they were mean to cut off the phone. The confidence school never indicated to me on enrollment, that the classes could be cancelled(not in word or paper). I would not expect any course to do this. These guys do not seem to be committed at all. Any course would give atleast a week notice or disclose these changes upon enrollment....but not confidence driving school. I would NOT receommend this course to anybody a very displeased paent more

My daughter is now a safe confident driver because Confidence driving School and their great staff. We highly recommend them to many area families. Pros: WOW What a great learning experience! Cons: More locations to get this quality service more

What is wrong with you people?? My kids (twin 15 year old boys) loved their learning experience with Confidence. The classroom teacher was extremely knowledgeable and was able to get the kids to understand the importance of being a safe driver. The teacher was never late and would stay over to make sure all the kids had a way home. My kids actually looked forward to going to drivers ed...I wish I could say the same about their regular school! Keep doing what you are doing Confidence and thanks for the great job you did teaching my kids to be safe drivers. Pros: Quality of teaching more

this is the worst driving school ever my instructtor made me feel stupid and NOT confident. behind the wheels were uncomfortable and i drove better and learned more with my parents. i wish i would have gone to sears or united and learned more and not be scared to drive Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

This is the worst driving school ever! My daughter went to Confidence Driving School because her high school used them. The classroom portion was pathetic. Most of the information she was taught was wrong. Her dad and I made sure she had the correct info and sure enough we were right based on her learners permit test. Cons: Everything! Obviously, the other ""one star reviews"" were written by immature kids or difficult (and clueless) parents. The customer service at this driving school was nothing but the best. My son, Tyler, loved the so called ""wildlife classroom"" (much better than a boring classroom with drab walls and dirty floors). The classroom instructor was accomodating and professional. He passed both his temps and the classroom with flying colors. When he did miss one class for a banquet, he was able to make it up with written material. The person who complained about having to ""make up"" a lesson with written materials obviously does not understand that driving is serious business. The on-the-road instruction was excellent and he was scheduled for each session ""no problem."" I am totally satisfied with Confidence and will be sending my two daughters there when they reach proper age. Grow up people! They are rude and have horrible office procedures. You'll be put on hold and never called back. The instructors are degrading and unsupportive. Worst customer service experience I have ever had! Look somewhere else!!! Cons: Everything more

Horrible customer service. Can not get anyone to respond or to schedule anything. The owner is too busy with all the birds and other wildlife located in the office--no joke there is a flock of various animals in the office. The place is pathetic. Take my advice go to SEARS. more

this was the crapiest driving school ever she took life to seriously like when someone missed only a half hour she told them to right a 1 and a half page essay you don't write fricken essays in drivers ed you write in us history. Do not use this driver's course, they are very unprofessional. I sent my son through the course and we were repeatedly disappointed by them. They repeatedly couldn't get the behind the wheel scheduling right and every time I called, the secretary (Nancy) was rude and kept telling me that she would make contact with the instructor and get back to me. It has been over a month and we are still calling and trying to schedule the behind the wheel with Nancy. At first I thought that maybe it was an oversight, but after talking to her repeatedly I now believe that Nancy is just plain incompetent. She continually states that the instructor hasn't called her back, so if he doesn't respond to her why would he be any better to the rest of us since we don't work with him? I'm sorry if anyone is going thru this, but as for me I'm going to try and get my money back and have my son finish somewhere else. Hope this helps someone else . Cons: poor customer service more
