Editorial review from Citysearch 10/1/2013

I wanted to leave a review here especially because the reviews above almost convinced me not to try Computers, etc. I'm glad I didn't listen. Christine was an absolute pleasure to work with. I got my computer back within a day and I'm writing this review on it now. She's easy to get in touch with, responsive and fixed the issue - I took cards to give to friends if they're in need of someone with her skill set. Highly recommend. I'm not sure how the other reviewers wound up with bad experiences, but my suggestion would be that all one has to do is call to get in touch! more

Horrible...Never USE..Please read my review... 1/27/2012

Most horrible company ever, never use...own picked up my computer at my home with my external hard drive. Never left a receipt or a contact information when picked up while I was at work. Owner picked up from my teenage daughter and failed to wait for me. Called me once to let me know price and when would computer be ready. Unfortunately I realized I did not have there address after and my phone deleted the number after so many calls. Never heard from them after that and finally got there number through a friend who initially referred me, who also did not have number prior. I called location they could not find my computer and said they would call me back well no call back and after several message and constantly calling I spoke to the owner who indicated they completely dismantled my computer and basically told me I was S.O.L I was told if it ""if it was so important you could find me on the internet,"" Seriously if I new their name and number I would of done that. That computer and external drive had all my document, taxes and picture of my family and deceased son. All we had the owner erased and fails to return our calls or message in attempt to at least return us a computer. Very SHADY company, lies, steal memories and has no dignity or remorse what they have done. DO NOT USE THEM EVER....I will be indicated a Lawsuit against them. more

The best computer repair shop in town 3/24/2010

I have been using Computers, Etc for at least 5-years now. I build computers as a hobby for friends and have built over 50 for my children's school. When I run into a problem I can't resolve, I can call Computer, Etc on the phone and their technicians will work with me, at no charge to resolve the problem. If it cannot be resolved on the phone, I bring it in for relative quick and always honest service. If it is for the school, the owner often waives the charge if it is a quick easy problem. They are courteous and have great customer service....please note that my experience and review are based over a long term relationship and not just an isolated incident. I recommend them to personal friends without hesitation. Pros: totally knowledgeable & very helpful Cons: very busy (because they are so good) delays sometimes more

Yah, I Hear Ya!! They have had my Mac for a good month and a half now, supposedly looking for a part with a better price than $400, but nobody has ever Once bothered to call me in all of this time, including when the supposed ""Mac guy"" up and left suddenly and my computer was just sitting there, for probably Weeks, with NoBody doing AnyThing with it!! :[ Great Customer Service! Cons: $$ and Slow! more

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL 7/13/2009

By far one of the worst computer repair companies I have ever experienced. I recently took my laptop in to get repaired and was charged $155 for a HALF HOUR of labor. This leads me to my next question of ""What exactly did this company do to my computer worth that amount of time or money?"" My answer: ""Absolutely nothing"" Several times I was told I would have my computer back in a timely fashion, It took over a week to have it returned to me. Also, my hard drive was the main problem and I was told they would put in a new one and reinstall all the programs and drivers I had on my previous hard drive if they could not clone the old HD. Basically, when I finally received my computer back, I had a blank hard drive without a good amount of drivers on it and none of the programs I had previously. Their contract even states that they would reinstall those programs, thank goodness I haven't signed it. Collectively, I have spent about 3-4 days reinstalling a good number of programs that were lost. What's more, this company didn't return my old HD to me and it was entirely devoid of working properly, and it contains a great deal of personal information on it. I would hate for that to get out into the world. They are all around a horrendous company and I would love nothing more than for them to go out of business so they can't screw over any other customers with their deceit and over priced labor. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
