We have been with CMS for at least 7 years. My oldest son started going to Ms. Jinny when he was 2 years old and my youngest started when he was 18 months old. They are now 10 a...

BIGGEST DAYCARE MISTAKE WE'VE MADE!!!! 4/14/2008

We enrolled 2 daughters: ages 2 and 4 to this expensive babysitting facility. After 4 mos., we left after we started noticing how sad our daughters were. Our oldest was losing self-esteem and not learning a thing. We only enrolled her because of all the fancy talk from the staff about the Montessori learning experience and we thought she would be better prepared for kindergarten. Both are children were clearly not happy and we are thankful that we observed because the school would have kept taking our money. I'm not sure the teachers in most classrooms even have a college degree but even without that the failure to communicate effectively with the child and the parent was not seen the entire 4 mos we stayed. HAPPY ENDING--WE ARE NOW CLOSER TO A REAL SCHOOL THAT IS TEACHING BOTH OUR DAUGHTERS IN AN ORGANIZED CURRICULUM W/ OTHER ACTIVITIES LIKE BALLET, SPANISH, AND KARATE AND WE STILL PAY LESS MONEY TO SEE 2 SMILING FACES AT THE END OF A SCHOOL DAY! Pros: LIBRARY, PLAYGROUND, KITCHEN IN CLASSROOMS Cons: LACK OF TEACHER LEADERSHIP/EDUCATION/COMMUNICATION, DROP OFF IN THE MORNING IS HORRIBLE, & NO EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES more

Nice, But... 8/29/2007

Wonderful School 7/23/2007

Both of my children attended CMS through the Lower Elementary years and then transferred to public schools. They were both well advanced in every academic area and are now in the National Junior Honor Society. CMS offers beautiful classrooms and grounds and excellent, caring and motivated teachers. I only wish they had the Upper Elementary program when my children were there! Pros: Peaceful caring atomosphere more

Don't waste your money 11/3/2006

Disappointed and upset. We moved out of the area, ended up paying for tutoring for our son so he could catch up in public school. We heard that there may be ""gaps"" in his learning, but this was across the board. I feel like I have let him down. Pros: Small school, away from the city. Cons: Expect to pay for tutoring if you transfer your children to another school more

Nice location; lacked academic standards 8/11/2006

Primary level was good for our child; Elementary education did not keep up with public school standards. Better for children who are inclined towards the arts than math/science. Pros: Nice location, rural atmosphere Cons: Does not keep pace with public school more

A wonderful atmosphere for our child 11/21/2005

The guides are accessible and attentive. The school is located on 13 acres. A wonderful place for children to learn. Pros: Inexpensive, Guides, School Grounds Cons: Extracurricular, Size more
