Mercy is an Angel! I was delayed overnight by an airline error and sent to this Comfort Inn. Mercy went above and beyond to turn a terrible situation into a very pleasant experience. Thank you Mercy, and thank you Comfort inn. more

I don't normally leave a comment...but I had to this time. I must say....I've stayed at lots of Comfort Inn properties.....by far... this one has the winning team running the show at this hotel.\r \r It is the small things that they do that highlighted my stay. Everything that me and my wife requested was provided....and even more.\r \r From me and my wife from Europe, I would like to say to the Comfort Inn Metro Airport: Thank you for the personal treatment and We will definitely come back and stay with you again. more

I found nothing but nice, helpful people in my 4 day stay. They are doing a remodel as well and it is going to be NICE! Airport location was great, not in the engine noise flight path but close enough to watch the planes land and wonder how the heck they even get those things in the sky. They upgraded me to the Jacuzzi suite when my room wasn't ready, whereas the hotel I was in the week before made me sit around for 2 hours, like it takes that long to clean one room! Very satisfied. Would stay there again. more

Stayed here while in Detroit for Orion Music and More at Belle Isle. No Choice Hotels downtown.\r \r Only spent 6000 points to get a king suite with hot tub which was great.\r \r Was recognized by the manager as a Platinum member and was given a reserved parking spot right outside the front door.\r \r Hotel has bar in lobby, but did not have a license at the time of my visit. Breakfast was ok.\r \r Short walk to gas station, McDonalds, and bars, 20 minute drive into downtown.\r \r Rooms were ok, will be nicer when the renovation is complete.\r \r Will stay here again. more

I met a friend for lunch. The new place has a great open feel. Huge bar in the middle with plenty of table seating around. The food came quickly, was hot and delicious! Staff was very friendly! I enjoyed the experience and will be going back - tomorrow in fact! more

I stayed here before an early morning flight. Staff were helpful, the room was comfortable and the price was very reasonable. It was also quieter than I expected because it's on the less-busy side of the airport. In the morning, I wanted yoghurt and there was none-- the hotel had been fully booked for several nights because of bad weather in the area and hadn't yet restocked everything. The manager offered to reimburse me for yoghurt that I bought at the airport. This is really exceptional customer care. I will stay there again, no question, if I need to get an early flight. more

Even though this hotel is undergoing renovations, it was clean and the staff was professional, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location of this facility was extremely convenient to the airport. more

I just wanted to say Thank You to the night desk clerk, Cynthia, she is a great employee, and made this frazzeled traveler feel much calmer. I was also greatful that there was a good place to eat right in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel. I also want to give a special thanks to J J the shuttle driver. He took the time to take me to get diaper's for my grandson eventhough he was extremely busy. Great guy. more

On a recent airline adventure we were advised by friends to enjoy the parking and shuttle provided by the DTW Comfort Inn. We enjoyed the relaxed evening prior to our departure, excellent breakfast and shuttle. Upon our return we discovered as a result of a communication error our car was parked at the wrong shuttle lot. Maroun was the manager on duty and when presented with the situation immediately resolved it to our satisfaction. I am a tour manager for a Grand Rapids travel company and you can not do better than to enjoy the rooms and customer service proviided by the Metro Airport Comfort Inn of Romulus MI more

My family and I have used comfort inn metro airport 3 time and have had great experiences each time. This time was no exception. We like this hotel because it is a great price and the park and fly is simple and accurate. Other pluses for this hotel are the breakfast starts early (4am) this is earlier than most hotels in the area and is great for early flights. Its also has a small gym that is good enough for a quick workout (treadmill and bike). The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the price is right. I am not sure what you could complain about. We will continue to use this hotel when using DTW and would recommend it to others. more

I am having an awesome time here; Doval Bacall, the general manager is so pleasant & wonderful, incredibly funny and he just has so much character & personality and Elizabeth is extremely awesome & kind as well. I have stayed at 6 different hotels around the Detroit Airport and this is by far the best & friendliest customer service I have received. As a matter of fact, this is the nicest I have been treated at any hotel I have ever been to - I have been running in & out of the hotel many times today & they always have kind words to say to me and have been checking in to ensure I am having a great stay. Upon check-in, Elizabeth helped me with my laptop and I asked for her opinion on places to dine and she gave her input with kindness and gathered several menus for me. There is also a sincerity about these two that I simply adore. Plus, I have been having a really, truly rough couple of days and these two made me laugh & smile so much - it really turned everything around for me. They are going above and beyond and I am pleased to write this review and would very much like them to receive recognition. more

I reserved a room at the comfort inn.....but felt as if I were lodging at the Waldorf astoria. Checking in, Cynthia made me feel right at home with her warm personality and professional first encounter. Receievd a bottle of water and upgraded me to a business suite equipped with a workstation. I had a question and they supplied me with the right answer. I had a request and they fulfilled immediately. Needed to attend a meeting in Downtown Detroit and they arranged a vehicle to take me to my meeting and back. The icing on the cake is that they are undergoing renovation and their rooms were very clean and satisfying.\r \r Comfort Inn Metro Airport....you have won me as a loyal/repeat guest and I will spread the word to my entire company that house over 3 thousand staff members. Doval and his entire team....thank you for the unbeatable hospitality. See you next month. more

We stay here every time we are in the area because it is such a nice place. What we like best is the Jacuzzi rooms. They are a good size for 2 ""mature"" size adults. A little high to step into, so find a step to use maybe. King size bed which most Jacuzzi rooms only have a queen. Room has lots of space. The hotel is across the highway from the airport so it is very convieant for flights out & the airplanes didn't bother us. They have a good breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, juice, etc. The lobby & breakfast area were being remolded when we were there but didn't cause any problems for us. more

I always use the Comfort Inn when I travel from Detroit Metro Airport. I stay the night before because it easier for me to wake up from there and their transportation service ensures that I make it to the airport on time for all my business trips. It only takes approx 3 minutes to make it to the airport. The beds are comfortable. I also stayed in their room with a jacuzzi in it. It is very nice. The staff is always very nice and ready to assist you with anything you need to make your stay better than it already is. The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. Breakfast is included in your stay.\r For the price and what they have to offer I will continue to use the Comfort Inn.. Internet is very fast and that is what I like whenever I check into a hotel. Internet speed is very important to me. more

I stayed here last week and it was ok the only thing that I really liked was the valet parking. They took care of my car and their shuttle staff was very friendly and on time.\r I came back to the hotel were my car was parked at the front and the girls at the valet desk were very professional and extremely nice. U can use their parking service any time u stay at this hotel and they honestly do a great job. more

$49 AAA rate vs. $99 at all other hotels in the area. Fun bar and restaurant. Laundry machine if you need it. Nice bar and restaurant. Great service to DTW. A steal. And quiet. more

My family and I planned a trip to the Bahamas and wanted to stay at hotel near the airport because our flight was leaving at 6:00AM. I used my points through Choice Hotels for the room. When we arrived the hotel was under major construction (multi million dollar) but that did not deter the staff from going out of their way. They deeply apologized, were extremely cordial and even gave us a bottle of wine for the small inconvenience. This hotel was already in good shape and yet they are pumping a ton of money in it to make it the best in the area. Nice inside restaurant/bar, very clean rooms and conveniently located. Thank you to the staff at the Comfort Inn Romulus, from the General Manager to the important desk clerks. more
